It is vile and the more i see it the more i hate it. We are becoming a laughing stock in rugby league and the first time we run out in it the away fans will fall about laughing on the terraces.

The recent pink shirt stade francais rugby union team looks more macho to be honest.

They say that time heals all wounds, and to be perfectly honest, my reaction to the new shirt isn't anywhere near as strong as when I first saw it last week. Even still, it still strikes me as an odd choice of design.

It's certainly not the best jersey we've had but it's not the worst. Some reactions are a bit OTT I think.

Its an unusual home shirt design, and as I said earlier will defo be one to polarise opinion, but I don't have any particular problem with it. And I'll certainly not knock the club for trying something different - after all, how many on here have been berating the club repeatedly for NOT doing that on the marketing front? Damned if they do, damned if they don't?

And I'll wager that many who have been playing hell about it will, after a period, find that they too don't have a particular problem. Anyone remember when the Ford Sierra first came out? With its "Jellymould" looks? At first it looked really odd and really polarised opinion. Yet after a year, it looked normal. Just like fashions - much of what women are wearing right now, like platforms for example, looks normal now but would have looked very "unusual" a couple of years ago. I suspect this shirt will prove the same, to be honest.

I've never bought a team shirt, though I've had a couple bought, & really couldn't give a monkeys what the shirt looked like. I don't have a need to be identified as team's supporter while I am on the beach in Torremolinos.

Show me worse. The lime green monstrosity was almost comical such was its strangeness but it wasn't worse.

That facial tattoo you have does the trick without you needing a shirt anyway. However I must ask why you did it yourself instead of using a professional? At least they'd have got all the letters the right way around.

How can you justify that criticism and continue to support the Bulls, comments from people on here about the shirt being vile, disgusting etc etc how do people come to these desciptions? The shirt is none of these FFS!

It is a shirt, thats all it is, if you want to buy it, buy it! If you don't then shut it!

I wish people wouldn't hijack this thread into yet another tedious "ohh you're always criticising" versus "ooh you always fawn after the club" debate. I hate the shirt and I fall into neither category.

Quite, I don't much like the new shirt, but you can't come up with a design that suits everyone so I don't blame the club for choosing this design!

Hardly hijacking. People p*ssing and moaning about the kit for the 15th year running, so it's mentioned. Seems kind of relevant.

fair comment. its grown on me now I've had time to get used to it which I didnt think it would on first viewing.

Having never complained about a kit before I kind of feel afronted that people (not neccesarily yourself) go off at the deep end when I (or anyone else) point out I really dislike the new effort.

Whether people have moaned, as you say, for 15 years or not, I think they are entitled to say whether they like the new kit without some melodramatic inquest occuring. Perhaps like me they haven't actually complained about the shirt before?

I stick by my comments that persistent offenders on these boards hijack thread after thread unless people toe their line of thought. I find it disturbing.

I like it and I was at a very formative age throughout the 80s, probably still am. Therefore logically and consistently you are a bad person and wrong about this and everything else, you obviously hate the club and have no business ever posting again.

It wasn't one specific person that the comments were aimed at though. It was the supporter base as a whole that the majority always complain. Who the majority are probably changes with each different thing to moan about (or in this case, with each different kit), but the fact remains the majority badmouth the club more often than not for every decision they make.

I completely disagree with that. There are certain things that do get hijacked, which I have learned to ignore. However you're complaining about people moaning that you don't like something, and yet really, you're doing exactly the same by complaining about those of us slating the badmouthers. If that makes sense.....
