He'd be a hard man to replace so I hope he's staying. We need to strengthen our forwards, not allow our best one to leave. If the Ross rumours turn out to be true then I hope it's to complement Lynch and not to replace him.

The whole situation is a joke and is perfect illustration of the clubs lack of communication with the fans.

Here is what it says about Sammut

and a little bit about Jeffries

About the salary cap in 2013

No criticism of Peter Hood from his programme notes but he does use the words "expected or expect" numerously.

After so many of the things that were "expected" to happen (or not happen) over recent years, I have to admit I can fully understand fans' scepticism whenever some variant on "is expected to" is used. Justified or not.

The use of the passive does not help at all either. If the wording was "I/we expect that..." rather than "...is expected to..." that might encourage readers to see it as a more positive (and personal) statement, rather than having potential for evasion of responsibility (as the passive voice is so often used to facilitate)?
