| Quote ="DILLIGAF"I trust Ross 5000 times more than I trust other "sources". Interesting to see the 600 season tickets mentioned when it's being quoted as 1,200 elsewhere. More bulls hit from the usual suspects?
And again the question of shareholders comes up. This is what I mean when I say the constant smoke & mirrors is putting me right off. If Sawyer owns 24.999999% and the Woods own 33.333333%, that still leaves approx 42% that we're not aware of. So who the F*** owns that?
We've been saying for ages that if they want the fans to buy into things, they need to be absolutely open and honest about the situation. It feels like it's far from open and honest. As usual.'"
The other 42% or so will be still owned by the original sole shareholder: Orcas Rugby.

| Did I not read somewhere that the terms of the lease agreement between BMDC, the RFL and the Bradford Bulls determined that the Bulls or some other incarnation of Bradford Rugby League had to be played at Odsal. At the time the head lease was transferred this was explained as quite a simple process. Wouldn't this mean the RFL are in breach of the lease come the first game of next season? One would have to see the lease to know what consequences would apply?
Similarly, if the lease expired in 2019, wouldn't this constitute a natural break in what I understand is a 3 way agreement, particularly as no RL is going to be played? It would be odd if only one aspect of a 3 way agreement expired. Irrespective leases aren't open ended and at least some conditions must apply.
The devaluing of the lease would support one or both of the above, in which case the freeholder, BMDC could possibly evict the RFL, having fulfilled the requirements of the lease? Yet Chalmers thought the RFL would blink, and they didn't.
Nevertheless, something about this lease seems really odd, and that's before we start getting into conspiracies. Has anyone actually seen it?

I think you're conflating two separate issues; the lease and the commitment to play at Odsal under the 'Odsal Settlement'.
The lease is, or was, reported to be well in excess of 100 years back in 2000 when the 'settlement' was agreed. If you remember, the club became responsible for maintenance under that agreement and received a large lump sum, from the council, as compensation. Due to receiving the cash the club committed to playing at Odsal until 2019 or a portion of that money would have had to be repaid. The lease remains though, as it was unless any changes were made when the head lease was sold to the RFL. There have not been reports of any changes so I assume there were none.

| The core nesteggers have been frozen out for a week or so. Some of us (inc Charles) are having a weekend away in frozen Greenland and then a few days in chilly Iceland.
We'll check in from time to time, which will please some, yet may p..s off several, including a select few in Birkenshaw and South Crosland.
We remain confident that the Bulls will be on the up, but most likely only after the present lot move on, or after they've thrown us under the 682 bus; the latter sadly being the most likely scenario post the conclusion of the present lot's (purported) asset (and fans cash) stripping exercise.
May we politely suggest that for the time being you tell your friends and family to put off buying a 2020 Bulls' season ticket until the dust settles. If they do decide to be reckless then please recommend to them that they do not hand over cash to the club, or buy a season ticket or or any Bulls' goods using a direct debit.
BFN; as it's late afternoon, we're off to tuck in to some suaasat. Yummy ![CHEF chef.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//chef.gif)

@TheGameCallerRL
It basically just takes what I post off Facebook and vice-versa. Had too many messages asking where the Twitter account was, so I've created this new one for now until I can call on the enthusiasm to go through the process with Twitter account recovery.

Hudson Energy have not been paid per se; they and BB17 just came to an 'arrangement'. If BB17 had not done so then our great club would have once again been crucified. That said the (alleged) crucifixion will likely occur in the not too distant future either due to the outfall from the news of the upcoming 'brewing storm' re £150K - £200K plus of misappropriated funds, or because some other creditors take the WUP process all the way and BB17 is wound up; as to be fair it should be as it's presently woefully insolvent.
The aforementioned electricity company were we understand ranked equal 3rd as the largest creditor by value. So we respectfully disagree with Gled's claim in this regard as per the above.
The news of Chalmers as being a major creditor is we believe utter bunkum. So that leaves details of largest creditor #1 and major creditor #2 to be disclosed. We know who they are, but for legal reasons dare not say, so the fans and the press have two options:
1) Ask the recently pronounced open and transparent 24.99% BB17 shareholder, Mark Sawyer, to be open and transparent about the names of the top five BB17 creditors by value as of 1930hrs on 22 October, 2019 (the date and time being significant!), or
2) Hazard a guess on the forum regarding the names of the top two creditors by value as of 22/10, and whoever gets it right will receive a Pvt & Conf'l confirmatory Private Message (PM) from nestegg - lucky them.
Given that 1) above will not in all likelihood happen, because the announcement would likely hugely embarrass the club, so option 2) above may be the fans only choice in the short term.
There is no doubt that many of true facts are being withheld, and that does not bode well. We have always wished the Wood/Sawyer consortium the best of luck (and boy do they need it), but to date they are exhibiting all the same lamentable 'smoke and mirrors' conduct that was so characteristic of Chalmers and a number of the club's previous owners .... and which is also (allegedly) so typically characteristic of the RFL.
Gee, it sure is a bit chilly in Greenland tonight!

| Regardless of who allegedly funded the Bulls £600k for one season's losses. Can anyone please explain how the Club which was taken over and promised to be paying its way has managed to lose that much money? It's even more of a mystery when it's fan base is far larger than other clubs and whose ticket prices are far higher than any other clubs.
Does anyone get the feeling the club is being used to see who can make what out of it and the rugby element of the Bradford Bulls is just a side-show/smoke-screen?

Re 1) above, the truth and the facts are due to come out in a national newspaper exclusive, most likely by on or before Xmas.

| Is Sandra Wood related to Nigel Wood?
Looking at that article it seems like the consensus that the RFL has acted inappropriately for several years has rattled Mark Sawyer's cage. He's come out punching with the "looking forward not back" argument, which is nice to hear, but neglects the fact that Bulls and their supporters have suffered for years in part due to a series of catastrophic decisions taken by the governing body. I don't think it is unreasonable for Bulls fans to be demanding answers. So sorry Sawyer but I'm not with you on that one chum.

| Hi Guys. New to the board. Long time lurker.
Just want to see us have some stability and transparency, and unlitmately be back in Bradford. I feel that the new ownership structure gives rise to more questions than answers though. Is it more murky than ever, or is it just that we’ve been through this mill so many times that we’ve all developed serious trust issues?
Finally, how have Nestegg been able to continue on this blatant wind up mission? posting lots and lots of nothing, not a single verifiable fact that wasn’t already in the public domain? Is there no moderation here?

If you read my previous post about Sandy a few days ago you'll know that she's the wife of his brother.
We worked together for over a decade in the NHS and as I said in the previous post she has been a regular at Bradford Northern and Bradford Bulls fixtures since the early 80s.
