Not sure about Adamson. He's been more involved in player development rather than coaching lately according to that CV.

Adamson CV reads like he has a lot of experience as the guy who escorts the player out of the back door and drives him to the drunk tank without the press seeing.

Well, looking at Rohan Smiths twitter, he currently follows 4 English RL clubs - Warrington, his uncles club, Wakefield, his dads club until recently, London Skolars, I guess from his time in London with the Broncos, and Bradford Bulls, which is one of his latest follows (pretty sure twitter orders the follows by date). Could mean anything though...

It's how it is for the things I have followed on Twitter.

Incidentally, I've been on a mission to "like" everything RL related (except Leeds) on Faceook. I'm now doing the same on Twitter with follows. I created a new Twitter account recently for exactly this purpose so it would be undiluted by other things I happen to like.

We are all going to be happy and optimistic sometime this week or we are going to get one hell of a let down. Getting Glen now as coach would possibly sit in between for me - an OK choice!

As I said before, I am now hoping for our version of Maguire at Wigan when he went in and completely lifted the place and he was a relatively unknown coach.

I wonder if Mr Green is well in with other owners to have asked for their advice on possible coaches as I would suspect many would like to see us come up again.

I hope it isn't down to Feress alone as he will sign a coach, not use him and send him out to another team for the rest of the season.

presumably thats statement from when FC was sacked just before we appointed Lowes. IIRC catalans was one of his first games in charge. Has that actually appeared on website today or has someone gone back in news archive and created a link to it? not sure why it would be dated nov 2013 although didnt website get updated round about then.

On the new new coach front, I hear Morrison has not applied and would not be in the running either.

The name most are taking about is Rohan Smith and for me would be the one that I would be most excited to see as our new head coach.

We’ll see if there’s anything in the rumours going around. I get the feeling it’ll be out of leftfield. I hope we don’t lumber ourselves with a cheapo option that will only continue the downward spiral.

The club needs a leader with fresh ideas who can get the respect of everyone.

The rumour about Matt Adamson didn’t really fill me with optimism as he seemed not to be involved in coaching and was more in player development. He could be an ideal replacement for Steve Ferres though. Rohan Smith is the current defence coach at Gold Coast and he could be ok – perhaps a good progression for him. John Cartwright would be a decent option. A former test player with recent head coach experience.

I’d prefer Smith or Cartwright. At a push Naylor. I think we need more than a shake up at head coach too. Recruitment has been a mess. That needs sorting and hopefully any new coach will get a grip on that.
