Fielden hasn't been brilliant for a few years, even before the injuries. And he didnt sign for us because he was asking for silly money. If Paul Anderson wants to keep throwing silly money at average props then let him. I think the salary cap is best spent elsewhere tbh.

Some comments about Kopczak are way OTT. The lad only wants a secure future for him and his family in the end.

Absolutely disgusting what Koppy did to not only his team mates but every1 who made trip to South of France too. Really don"t know what has annoyed me more him doing the dirty on the other lads or the fact he has joined the "Sir Ken" funded championship sized club HUDDS/SHEFF for simply more money. I love how he couldn"t turn down working with Paul Anderson, well I suppose that means he will be great till about June along with rest of the HUDDS/SHEFF pack assuming Fielden plays at all with his injury record.

Saying hes putting his family first is just a kopout lol no pun intended, if he was a footballer he would have been rightly villified for been completely motivated by greed. I disagree. I feel pretty disappointed by the whole saga due to a number of factors.

Craig let the fans down, he let the club down, and (most importantly) he let his team mates down. It's all okay saying he was just looking after his family and he was obviously disappointed by the amount that team mates were getting paid, but he never even waited to see what the new owners had in mind for him. If he was disappointed with his current wage, i'm sure this would have been up for discussion this season, with his contract expiring at the end of 2013. Instead he took advantage of the predicament the club was in.

The whole way he handled the situation, was just motivated by greed. I won't be wishing him well, and ill happily 'Boo' him when he next visits Odsal!

Given the new, long term deals being offered to home grown lads since OK Bulls took charge, as well as the fact that all the players were paid for the length of the administration, it would seem the whole "looking after my family" argument does sound very hollow.
