Fwiw, in 99 we dry-humped Wire in a similar fashion to what happened at the McGalpharm on Saturday. None of those points carried over to the next round and we went out.

Fortunately, our next two semis were against much more pliant opposition.

Honestly if i was a Bulls fans i'd be worried about having Wire in the cup but i wouldn't be shi--ing myself, it's rugby, i once saw a bottom of the league Harlequins side beat a top of the table Wigan side in a league game in which Wigan were winning comfortably in the 1st half.

It's all about catching a team at the right time, the only thing i'd be worried about is having the Leeds game (a local derby) the week before, which you don't, you have Crusaders.
The only thing i'd worry about in that game are the players wanting a little pay back and overexerting themselves.

Should be a great game I am confident of a wire win but it's a cup game and on your day can beat anyone especially with players like Langley, Kearney and orford.

dont know which fixture list your looking at but one we've got says we have leeds week before cup game and crusaders a fortnight after.

Nice build up to cup game imo away to wakey then at home to a steadily improving leeds. both winnable and a good test.

if you have Leeds then that makes it harder for you guys, that will be a highly charged game.

We have Leeds at home on the Sunday before the Cup Quarter Final.

We have Huddersfield at home the week after, then Crusaders away on the same day as the England/France match (and England footy world cup match against USA).

I'm sure the Crusaders game will now be on the Friday night! and Lee St H in charge!

I'm not worried at all. We are firm underdogs, the pressure is right on Smith & his players to perform. We'll give 100%, I reckon it will be close and either team could win on the day.
