I don't get into the city centre too much, but I went in about a month ago and the Old Bank was closed then.

I never buy the T&A & cannot remember the last time I looked at a copy. If you type Perry Austin Clarke into google you get some interesting results.

No. An interesting story about the ripper or not the ripper. Plenty about him being a chinless lapdog for the yank owners.

That ripper stuff sounds more like the ramblings of a nutter.

But the cosying up with the local fuzz to the detriment of reporting the facts about certain events is more worrying as are the accusations about the Odeon and St George's Hall.

It's like a plotline from the Beiderbecke Affair only without the humour.
