If noone was signed because there were no wingers available, that wanted to come, and for the right amount of money i dont think people would be very happy, so it may be that signing a very good FB and moving halley to the wing may be the best option.



I can see what you're saying but i personally feel that Kearney is a better FB than Halley and if by signing him is the best way we can currently improve our backline then so be it.

I do see the point and I appreciate there may be no wingers of sufficient quality available, and probably signing a fullback and moving Halley to the wing is a better option than just not signing anyone. However with Halley in such good form, I'm just not sure it sends out the right message to the players that no matter how well you play, you still might end up getting replaced and shifted somewhere else. It's the same wrong message that comes from continually picking players quite clearly out of form or not good enough.

yes i agree, and you can easily see both sides of the arguement, but I think Kearney is a good player and would love to see him at the bulls as he would make us a better team.

Uate has recently signed a 4 year contract extension with the knights, so there is no chance of us signing him, would have been nice though.
