Where's your sense of drama? For too long the club was accused of not trying to engage with the fans. Now they're really trying to keep up the interest when we have a week to go before the important part of the season begins.

I like it but It's not what they would do unless they had something sorted. They never have in the past.

Waiting until player sponsorship sorted? They seem to like to have a sponsor included in the announcement. Also possible that the player still has a game to play this weekend before being released I suppose.

think most likely one if we're going with Melbourne storm, and queensland could be dane Nielsen. Sacked by st George for disciplinary reasons in may so is a free agent and at 30 could be looking at coming over here for a last payday.

guessing five day wait could be to give him time to get over here so they can present him at a press conference and also coincides with fixtures being released.
