What twaddle. Leaving aside that there is already a growing FGF around the place, exploits in the Cup are largely irrelevant to home league crowds.

| Think the FGF has returned quite a bit this season really. There have been some glitches but it's a massive improvement on last season's debacle.

| Got to be wire if I could pick a certain win. Its been a long time since we've been in a cup semi with a shot of the final and I'd much prefer that to 2 league points TBH even if it is Leeds.
Both would be nice though. Aim high!

Hmm, the spectators don't seem to be flocking back to Odsal though.
A Wembley appearance always has, and always will mobilise a large number of fans, OK plenty will be just there for the day trip but if things are progressing well on the pitch an enjoyable occasion like a Wembley appearance could be the spark that gets people back at Odsal regularly.

| If we beat Leeds then theres no guarantee of a top 4 finish, we could lose every other league game (heaven forbid).
Beat Wire and we're guaranteed a semi final spot. Win that and we're in the final, happy days are here again.
Cup for me everytime. Lose to Leeds and we still have a chance at top 4. Lose to wire and its cc over for yet another year.

Very much the forgotten semi - and with good reason, we were dreadful despite reasonable form going into the match. There was also a lot of talk that Lesley would have come back if we'd gotten to Wembley IIRC.

Indeed, feels longer though as I've almost blanked that day out, I thought we had a decent chance after putting 50 on shuddersfield in the quarters but we were never really in with a shout with that one IIRC.

What about that try in the quarter final when Deacs kicked from the base of the scrum and Marcus St Hillaire out paced the entire Hudds team to run onto it and score the try.

| I'd say Wire, if we get beat by Leeds then there are still 12 weekly rounds remaining in which to secure as high a finish as possible and thus secure a better chance in the play offs. However in the cup there are no second chances and it has been a while since we made a challenge cup final so to be one game away from the final would be nice.

| Wire is far more important. To get into the semi's after beating the team placed 2nd in the league would be a massive boost for us. Beating Leeds is always fantastic and the only reason that is really important is because it is against Leeds. All the bickering between Bulls and Leeds fans on here who both goad each other with the importance of the game and how both seem to see it as a 'cup final' game make me laugh I have to say. Of course we all see it as a majorly important game all the time. It's a massive derby (possibly the biggest in super league) and the players see it as a cup final game so why shouldnt we?! Every Leeds game is one of most important games in the year for me. I never want to lose to Leeds....and neither do the players. If you think that's such a bad thing then IMO opinion you are not a proper Bulls or Leeds fan....

| Personally I think this week it's more important to beat Leeds and next week it's more important to beat Warrington.
Come on why are we all either arguing or trying to decide if we can scrape a win against one which would one would be best.
FFS this is the first time in years that we have had - let's face it including the the Huddersfield game at home - three massive games in three weeks that could see us into the semi final of the cup and virtually cement a top four position in the league.
Right now I'm saying we'll win all three and hope that some of you misery guts turn those frowns upside down and get on board!!
COME ON YOU BULLS!!!

I certainly hope so!!!!
The players shouldn't think about Warrington yet, just put everything into sunday's game and see where that gets them. Come next week is the time for them to get ready for our QF.

Let's worry about Warrington next week take each week at a time and then see where that gets you. In this league now you can't judge a team on how they fair from one week to the next. A lot of people will go on about how poorly the team played at Murrayfield and in the first half last week but it's means nothing we are playing this week. Against Hull KR at home bulls faultless easy win should have nilled them, a week later and Crusaders nil Bradford the bulls loking awful then the next SL round Hull KR beat Crusaders.
Anyone can beat anyone and with that in mind to go into a a game against a Leeds team (now hitting fine form) having only lost one game in the last nine is pretty impressive. Not to mention that Bradford over the first half od the season have been the fourth best team in the league and the best in Yorkshire - FACT. Huddersfield and Leeds fans might not like it but the league table proves this at the half way point. They have fallen behind Bradford so far.
Like I said Leeds are a team hitting fine form with an excellent squad able to cope with the injuries and suspension they have right now as they should as three times in a row champions but we can beat them and I'm confident and getting right into this. I've booked monday off work I'm going to be on one and win, lose or draw I know the lads will do us proud in this match and the nest two after that because they are the sort of players that relish the big occasion!!!

| A win against Leeds is always good. However, at the end of the day it is only 2 league points. A win against Wire puts us 80 minutes away from Wembley. So I vote for a win in the cup.

How is anyone overconfident. We'd prefer to win in the cup game, no-one has said that we will, or that we are even likely to.
