According to Radio Yorkshire, they believe we will enter administration in next 48 hours

it was on twitter on Sunday that Marc was in Ibiza and was going to administrate and liquidate the club this week.

Strangely enough, it's now been deleted from both Radio Yorkshire's Website & Twitter feed, jumped the gun perhaps?!

Obviously I hope not. How can this happen a third time in 5 years if true? What help are the club really getting from the RFL?

Seriously, given the noise and feelings since Sunday, I find the silence from the club astonishing IF they are going to remain full time next season even with a slimmed down squad, the only explanation you can take is that we have a nasty surprise coming down the track!

Our no. 1 fan, Dave Craven in today's YP said there were several people still interested in acquiring the club (or word to that effect!), why would anyone be interested, unless its a recent winner of a Euromillions fortune who has been a supporter all their life (some hope!)

Define "still". The reality is that nobody has been interested in buying the club. That's why it keeps getting put into administration instead of being sold.

Prediction: Marwan wants a big club. He thought he was getting one but it hasn't come to pass. He'll give up Salford and take over the Bulls. Sometimes not all doom is gloom.

Maybe the club are prepared and are just going about business as usual and feel there is nothing to announce?

Trim the back room, wave the money boys off to the nearest Super League bench and brace for next year....(He says hopefully)

The prospect of being owned by Marwan "the Mouth" Koukash doesn't bare thinking about. The few Salford fans I have met, despite living here, find the bloke embarrassing.

The Last accounts Bradford submitted they lost £680k!!! This was there financial year ending 2014, they haven't submitted there accounts for 2015 and have until end Aug to do so. This is never a good sign submitting accounts so late.

I fear the worse.

Can't see that. BullBuilder is a handful of volunteers. When I was on the board last year there was no chance of that happening. The situation won't have changed.

If it's admin then unless it's sorted quick and we have a buyer we'll lose staff, players all over again. All that work done on the academy would be for nothing.

I think that would see me finally losing interest.

Same for everyone else I fear, been going on for far to long now this and doubt it will be sorted anytime soon.

If MK leaves Salford he wont be going anywhere near another RL team. The only possibility of him getting another Club would be in the NRL. I think he's had his fill of UK RL to be honest, but a lot depends on how Salford goes in the M8's.

I hate to break it to you, but you're not a big Club anymore either.

Slugger is a Wakefield fan anyway.

Odsal is a tombstone for us...and would strangle any positive venture.But the fan base is up there with the best and given the lifeline of a new base..we could become "big" again with prudence.

Like a lot of people you are confusing big with successful.

Depends how you define 'big' but our support base, both active and potential is bigger than a few SL clubs.. We are a million miles away from where we have fallen from but there is no denying the club is potentially a big player in RL, especially if we were fortunate to land an owner with some financial clout.

Whilst that is true, the flip side of that coin is that if this latest rumour turns out to have substance, then you have pretty much alienated the vast majority of the remaining fanbase and there is a lot of trust to win back. Only so many times you can get your fingers burnt.
