Hull have quite a weakened squad for this match compared to our usual.

McKinnon, O'Meley, Westerman and Heremaia are out with injuries, Moa isn't playing as he's on compassionate leave (Mother very ill according to a poster on the FC board), and Yeaman only has an outside shot of playing (announced in the 19 for the first time since having foot surgery).
Rumours by a couple of people that Rich Horne is a doubt, too.

Would have said it was in the bag, but Bulls players will be well up for it now.

Two weeks ago I had it pegged for a fascinating game between two clubs seemingly turning things around. Now I just don't give a what the result is.

Ainscough being in the 19 leads me to believe we might be shifting Kearney to 6, and playing either Ainy or Platt at FB.

Maybe, but Pryce didn't cover himself in glory last week and Kear is still out.

Addy in at 6, Ainy on wing instead of Pryce.

Hope Ainscough gets a run out, we need his enthusiasm and energy.

Missing Moa, O'Meley, McKinnon, Heremaia, Yeaman (probably), Westerman and maybe Horne could be a bit too much

Bear in mind however that we are missing Gale, Jeffries, Kear, Koppy, Scruton, Walker and more. So I think our injuries trump your injuries and then some. Plus all the other sheeiite that's been going on this week. I think it's safe to say that you are in with a pretty big shout....

All the missing players for us are Internationals (barring Mckinnon) and got a lot of kids in who havent played a lot of 1st team - yours seem to have more games under the belt. Will be interesting thats for sure

Horne injury is a rumour admittedly - Yeamo said in local press yesterday that this game could come too soon and doesnt want to risk it ahead of the derby

Ainy usually has more enthusiasm and passion, but you'd have to think with KP being a bradford lad and owing the club alot for a second chance he just must be fired up for this game.

He should have been fired up for every game but he's been crap in them all! Last week reaching a particular low point. Could have saved a bit of money on the overdraft with that signing!

So what are people's thoughts on this game? I have no doubt that it has bonded the squad, but will their heads be elsewhere? And with no recognised half back combination it is going to be a big ask. Heart says Bulls, head says Hull.

Think thats the biggest problem and more than any of the off field stuff, which will effect different people in different ways.

Guessing we'll see Addy and Sammut in the halves. I think Addy has a lot of skills and want to see him played at loose asap but its a tough ask to have him controlling things for 80 mins on his own, that not being Sammuts style of game.

I will though put money on us to win and some first try scorer bets and the lottery. Whatever comes in will go in the pot.

It's hard to predict how we'll perform, hopefully they'll be fired up but they need to channel that appopriately. Hopefully we'll see a return to the team effort of previous weeks. Sadly without an organiser I fear it'll be a brave effort but lacking a bit of direction against a solid Hull defence. I'm going to get behind the guys though, regardless of the result.
