| No more to be said really, utterly clueless and completely unable to effect the game at all.
Lost Gale and brought LeStrange on, a decent coach would have moved Kearney to 6, Sammut to 7, Platt to FB, and Whitehead to Centre ensuring our impact at Hooker could be retained. Has a chance to fire them up at half time and sends them back on asleep, has anybody else noticed we play like his personality laaaaiiiiid Back!
We can't afford to sack him as Adeybull will no doubt come on and confirm, so three games in we're looking forward to a long painful season of a team completely void of inspiration, enthusiasm, motivation, organisation etc. - We'll finish 12th, but those players could finish in the 8 with a decent bloke at the helm.

| Completely agree, we have lost to Catalans and Wigan, which obviously means he must go.
next home game should seal his fate IMO, 3 home losses on the bounce, to teams we should be beating, is just not on!!
seriously though, lets see how we get on against the teams we should be beating, before throwing this season down the pan.

| The game plan always seems to be the same under Potter, one out rugby, it doesnt work and we get hammered, when we do use the ball we seem a lot better attacking wise. Time up for Potter for me.

| I expect the club will have planned to make a decision around May/June time. I don't expect that will have changed and nor would I expect it to.
I'm undecided at the moment about whether we should continue under Potter after 2012. We certainly need to see some drastic improvement in the next couple of months.

What a sad day it is for ths club when we have fans saying its ok to get virtually humilated against team because we shouldn't be beating them anyway.
100% agree he shouldn't get a deal. No motivation, no passion, no aggression and no bloody clue!!!!
Diskin is probably our best tackler. Yet Potter has an obsession that a hooker couldn't possibly play 80 minutes. Yet we had our four back rowers Walker, Whitehead & Langley blowing out of their backsides while our best player was on the bench.
I really think the Bulls have to sack him. Yes we will have to pay him off, but thinking long term, how many fans will but a season ticket next year after watching yet another season of tha dross. It's going to be exavtly like last year. Lose, lose, humilated, then we put in a superb performance, followed by every player talking in the local paper how "they've turned the corner" "the team spirit is a great thing at the club" "We've showed the fans we can defend" followed by a awful performance.
Lets not kids ourselves that Wigan were anything special today. We just missed one on one tackleds and have no idea how to slide.

| Just watched the post match interview with Potter, and he still praises his players with a result like this, I know he's not going to come out and say they were bad, but he is too laid back and quiet, our team needs a coach with some fire and motivation.

| 10,000 season ticket sales.lets have a whip round and get rid.he seems unwilling or incapable of changing his game plan,if there is a plan, when things are going really badly for us.we look very lethargic in defence no one sliding in the line hence we get stepped around way too easily and a flat line when going forward with no options for the halves.nothing it seems has changed from last year, let the guys play some rugby next week and get away from the one man rugby which is so so boring to watch.

Hood has stated that we're pretty much to the cap limit. Perhaps we're not making the best use of the cap in some areas The fact the the top clubs all have rich backers is coincidental.

| There is no policable salary cap. The succesful teams are doing what we did when we had a fantastic squad.. Unfortunately we were paying for success with money we didnt have whilst the current high flyers are being paid by rich backers who havr figured a way to reward players without it counting on cap.

| TBH the scoreline today flattered Wigan. The utter shambles that was Bradford's defence in the 2nd half is what should be addressed.

| On paper we have a better squad that last season and arguably better than under McNamara...yet we are getting worse week by week!
NO difference to the performances of last season, turn up for 1 game then get hammered for the next 3....
Air bus for Potter i'm afraid.

| I know i'll get a slating for this but the guy has proven that he can coach given the fact that he has a track record of getting teams into the top 3 previously (Catalans and Saints) so don't think it has anything to do with his style. Maybe he's just out of touch with modern coaching techniques after being away from the NRL for so long.
I think the whole situation is cancerous. There's no sign of it stopping and the only thing I can think of is to start from scratch (i.e. Brian Smith style). A completely new coaching team (get rid of Potter, Cummins & St Hillaire, Evans) is needed who will make the tough decisions (playerwise) and bring in a new coaching/playing style that has been so successful for Wigan, Warrington, Huddersfield etc. No surprise they all turned it around by employing coaches straight from the NRL.
On hindsight I think it was a bad decision all round to bring Potter in. The club has lost 2 years from not being able to make the real changes needed and Potter has lost any sort of reputation that he may have built up whilst in Super League (meaning that he'll probably have to go back to oz as an assistant again).
A very sad situation all round!!!

I believe we are.
I also suspect we are not, for example:
- employing players who receive very substantial image rights payments form "unconnected" third parties, meaning they are happy to play for a lot less than they might otherwise require.
- employing players who have a lucrative image rights, consultancy or other deal with one of the rich owner's pals, meaning they are happy to play for a lot less than they might otherwise require. And meaning the rich owner is so chuffed that his business gives his pal's business some nice juicy contracts...
- employing players as above, but where the deal is with a business otherwise connected with the rich owner, but no-one can prove it.
- employing players as above, whose partners have a nice lucrative job with one of said other businesses.
All of which arrangements might - strangely enough - mean the player may be delighted to play for the club of his dreams for a lot less wonga than he would otherwise need. Which means you could squeeze a lot more talent within the salary cap.
Now, whether any of those OTHER clubs are, especially those with wealthy owners, is of course a matter for pure speculation.
As it is a matter for pure speculation only whether, if you were ever able to add up the sum of what (net of tax) every club's players receive from every UK-related source, you would find some glaring disparities between the clubs. Despite the elephant in the room known as the "fixed" salary cap.
Salary cap? If I was a wealthy club owner, I could drive a coach and horses through it and almost certainly get away with it within the rules. But they are all honourable men, so there must be some other explanation for the disparity of squads we see on the park.

Perhaps those other speculated clubs will be waiting anxiously for the outcome of Rangers' dispute with HMRC?
I can tolerate the fact that we dont have the resources to compete with other clubs. But it would be truly depressing to find out that the wage bill for our squad is anything comparable to that of Wigan, Warrington, Leeds etc
