Unlike Bobby Hamm and Mick Shiels I think Mick would also bring a different approach, though not recommended for those in Intensive care!

I guess for tomorrow you'll have to find myself, Richard or Stuart Duffy before the game and one of us will be able to sort you out a headset.

I'm trying to get a few ex players to join me in the summarising department for when the season starts if they are able to.

It's all part of the licensing criteria for 2012 that every club has to provide this service.

Well I've got to say something here and it may come as a shock to those who only know Mick's on screen persona.



Mick started commentating for the Bulls Audio Commentary system at the end of last season and he is very very good, the number of people using the system is growing and as Mick has said the hospital radio is looking to link in to the commentary as soon as we have sorted out the best way of doing it. The feedback has been 100% positive and if anything it's shown just how important something like this really is.

Anyone wanting to use the sytem which will be available for each home game and the friendlies including Dewsbury just need to either message me, Mick or the Bulls or give me a call on 01274 587330 and we can have a headset and receiver ready for you.

Also to say Mick did not have the teamsheet until the last minute he did a brilliant job as he was walking up and down the back of the stand to give the best reception, well done Mick and thanks for giving up so much of your game day to help with this.

Hurting yourself is a legitimate way of getting in to hospital. The more people hurt themselves the more you have an audience.

The bit in bold says what this service is all about in that yesterday we had an elderly gentleman that is slowly going blind, but at the moment he can still see the action but can't make out the players numbers and by taking in my commentary he was then able to identify all the new players we have signed in the off-season and where they have come from etc.

I'll echo what Gill has said in that this service can ultimately be the difference between visually impaired supporters being able to go watch Bradford live and be part of the special occasion that is watching the Bulls or being stuck at home and only having the radio for comfort.

Not often that I would this, but on this subject Gledhill holds the moral high ground and deserves praise not mockery.
