As you say we should be able to offer him lots of money. That's the main reason players move. I don't think John's expected to win anything going to Warrington but he came half way round the world for the money.

Because it's Guess Who, whose apparent hatred for Bradford has been evident for a long time. Pretty much every comment on here from him is anti-Bradford (if not every single one) and always has been.

But in your original post, you asked the question "Why would he come to a team on the decline?" OK, good question. But the question that would first need to be answered is "Is Bradford a team on the decline"? The recent past would suggest it is. Will that trend continue? Or will it be stabilised then reversed going forward? I submit that most people are hopeful of the latter (even if that could well remove the remove the reason for existence of some posters on here

).

And if a prospective player was persuaded likewise, and felt he could have a fair bit to do with the renaissance, then you have gone a long way towards answering your question, have you not?

I don't really think the current state of the club will really come into it. If he is going to leave Parra, a team on the up, where the majority of his friends are, the climate etc. he is going to be doing it for $$$

So whether it be Celtic or Leeds who were to offer the most, they would get him. The only other way the club will come into it is if 2 clubs offer the same money.

Whilst we have made some excellent signings over the years, to demand a constant stream of "world class" signings 'like it used to be' (but never actually was), and then use your own straw man to slag the Bulls off, is pretty dotty, when you think about it.

Whether the points are valid or not, they're still always negative towards Bradford.

That tends to be why people ignore them or just take them as bitter.

Please tell me which other clubs have been signing world class players in the past few years because with the exception of Buderus, King and Barrett, I dont recall any teams signing world class players

If it were Leeds, who are winning things or say Wire who seem to be getting bigger and better. I could honestly see the attraction for him coming to them.

But looking from the outside, i cant see why he would want to sign for the Bulls at the moment. Apart from a big pay day. I asked that question and instead of people answering they saw my name and that i am a Cougar fan. So straight away i must have a chip or be negative towards the Bulls.
