harris issue was eliminated last year according to hood at forum. Duckett just mentioned tax issues so sounds like image rights is most imminent issue combined with bank withdrawing overdraft facility. After listening to Ryan I'm a lot more positive about things than I was earlier and dont have problem pledging now. Would certainly prefer club wasnt in this position but dont think we can seriously go down route of reforming and starting rebuilding process yet again. We're just starting to see signs that we're turning things round with the youth coming through and thought of losing that progress and having to start from scratch again is unthinkable IMO.

The minimum pledge is £100, but some don't have that amount. So, what if the STBF set a minimum pledge at £20 and accrue a combined total of say, £15-20k and give that to the club. Enables everyone to pledge then?

Sounds good. I've pledged 500 now, which means no holiday for me this summer, but it would be better than no rugby!

no it isnt, pledge form has an option for 'upto £50'. They could certainly do with publicising that better as £100 figure will be putting a lot of people off.

Any figure, fact or quote from this management is putting me off pleding after the continuous misinformation from them over the last 12 months.

The staff and players were told this morning... just after the press release was sent out.

They said players would not be sold, only if the worst comes to the worst.

TBH thats something they could have used to help push the pledge rather than the ultimatum/doomsday approach theyve gone with. We've still got option of admin, wiping image rights bill but voiding player contracts and getting a points deduction with inevitably players being snapped up by other clubs. better to push the pledge as a way of clearing debts and retaining our youth rather than route that has been taken.
