| Well it doesnt look good. £100 from every supporter?? I just dont see it happening and something doesnt add up. I understand the overdraft being reduced, but we should have known what and when we had to pay to the rfl.

| Fucking hell.
That's not the sort of thing you need to see first thing in the morning
As I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to these things, but can't we just go bust and form a new company? Like London and Crusaders did?

| What the hell is going on? I thought the lease sell-off was keeping us floating. It's a hard pill to swallow when Hood has been saying 'we're OK' for so long. Answers please...
No chance of stumping up an extra £100. Take your cap along to the bloke who signed Harris, Peter...
Thanks for the memories.

| They're approaching members and sponsors but no mention whatsoever of the shareholders. To ask people to put up money for a business owned by others and which they board say will go bust in a fortnight is cloud cuckoo land.
How did the club owe the RFL what now appears to be the entire sum of the sale of the lease?
Why have the Royal Bank of Scotland lost faith in the Bulls despite what appears to be a massive overall reduction in debt?
The only hope I can see is to enter administration.

| Problem is, if we enter administration, we lose all our best players to clubs at cut fee prices.
it won't matter how much they have left on their contract, everyone will be available!

| I cant see fans putting their hands in their pockets (even if if they can afford to do so) without the club giving a lot more disclosure about the financial situation. Its all just too sudden. We've known for a while that the club is strapped for cash but the impression has been given that the financial situation was just about manageable.
Realistically, the club are not going to get anything like £1m from the fans. The 10,000 fans at £100 each equation doesnt allow for the number of families and those on very low incomes, kids and OAP's. £100,000, perhaps but not much more. And if £500,000 to £1m is what's needed to keep the club afloat then it would seem like throwing good money after bad.

| Are we for sale for £1m? Do have to wonder if someone came in and said I'll take it off your hands for that price what the current board would say............

| WTF. Where has the money from ther RFL gone? Thought that was securing our "long term future"?
I have the feeling someone has been pulling the wool over our eyes.

Sorry Mr Hood but you have completely lost the faith I had in you, what happened since the following article....
www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/s ... l_Stadium/
I won't be parting with any of my cash until I hear a few more honest answers as to why this has happened. And what has suddenly changed in the last couple of months, unbelievable news.

| By all accounts the money from the RFL was so we could pay them back for a loan we took out.
We did not expect to have to pay this back as quickly as we expected. I get the feeling that the RFL knew we were struggling, have played an absoulte blinder in basically getting the lease of Odsal, BEFORE we went bust, and managed to get their money back that they loaned to us last year to keep us a float in the off season.
The bank have also asked us to lower our overdraft meaning we either had to pay a level of cash direct to the bank or we have little room to manouevure.
All in all, you can't really operate without cash and we are pretty much screwed.....
Either that or it's some crazy scheme to get people to the Leeds game.....

W.T.F.
Ok, so I would be in the lucky position that I could donate £100, but my question to the club would be, assuming they raise the £1m to (presumaeably) pay next months wages and/or rent, what happens the month after. What restrucuring will magicly happen between now and the next bill to prevent the club going cap in hand in 6 months time??
more details needed I feel.
Great start to the day...not.

Sums up a lot Fans feelings, I just wonder if a major sponsor deal(s) has fallen through recently
The Bank reducing the overdraught all of a sudden has caused this knock on effect
If Whinos pay back the Harris money that would help
Time for a Fans Forum cause if they want the Fans money a lot of questions need to be answered
Did it affect the Players regarding the Salford match??

| You would have to offer this as a shareholding surely. Not a donation.
Begs the question what's been funding the cut price season tickets?

| Not forgetting the 3.5 years of season ticket I have left remaining, what has happened to that? They already have a bit of my cash in advance, what is to say that I won't be just pouring my cash down the plug hole. I seriously hope they're planning on calling an urgent fans meeting, the release on the website just isn't enough.

| Shocking news, don't think it's fair to ask fans to pay as many have their own problems. Hope you come through it, SL needs Bradford.
Hope the derby sells out and you can attract some more sponsorship.

| Not news I expected to wake up to. To say it came out of the blue is a massive understatement.
I've been telling people for years how perilous the financial situation clearly was. It was patently obvious from the accounts. Anyone still disbelieving?
But - like many others no doubt - I'd assumed that the sale of the Odsal lease had alleviated at least the short-term financial crisis. So where the hell has this come from?? Unless retrospective tax bills
We now learn that the Odsal sale was seemingly because the club had borrowed from the RFL (it was obvious it must have, since they registered a charge in favour of the RFL well over a year ago) and could not repay them, so they took the stadium in lieu of repayment. I've heard nothing other than what I have read in the paper this morning,
Once again, looks like we have been made to look fools, and the chief emotion I feel right now is anger. But I'll keep most of my powder dry for now in the hope that I can find out some more somehow.
This cannot have just come out of the blue. I am afraid what I have read does not stack up. Frankly, I do not believe it.
Donations? They should have been going for a share issue. If they want supporters to chuck a shedload of money in, they need to surrender a sizeable share of the ownership. As I feel right now, thats what it will take for me to put any money in.
Is Caisley waiting in the wings to buy the assets off an administrator?
Far far too busy at work right now to give this the attention it needs. And far too angry to want to write much more just now.
