| Wouldn't at all suprise me to see Worrincy in for the Quins game based on the fact Macca won't be able to resist the old Chestnut of using Players against their old Teams. He'll think it just has to work this time! Just watch him!

| It would be criminal to play HL away from dummy half this weekend. Wagga just doesnt have the abillty to direct andunlock the defence like Heath, it's important that we have our best hooker playing hooker and as we saw on Sunday against a strong outfit, Danny Addy is quite capable of playing in the halves.

| Cain Southenwood?
You have to think that Macca left him out against Hull as s few of their forwards are on the large side and the odd one a little bit brutal. They'd have been looking for him in the defensive line and looking at targeting him when he had ball in hand too.
Quins don't really have the same set of forwards so we might see him back in the side - probably at the expense of Addy knowing Macca.

| Assuming Halley is back, which there's every chance he will be, I'd pick:
Kearney
Sheriffe
Platt
Nero
Halley
Sykes
Addy
Lynch
L'Estrange
Kopczak
Langley
Whitehead
Menzies
SUBS
Godwin
Hall
Crossley
Southernwood
Addy can help out in the back row options when Southernwood comes off the bench, as can Hall in one of his two ten-minute spells.
If Halley isn't fit, I'd put Wardle on the wing (assuming he's fit, since he was injured last week too). If neither, go with Reardon.
I'd also be tempted to swap round Kearney & Sykes, but since Sykes & Addy did alright in the second half last week, it may be worth starting with that combo.

Never seen any player blow our their @rse as much after 18 minutes in all my days. And what's the crouching at the side of the pitch all about?
Must be the intense NRL.
Are we to also assume Halley is injured or not selected? Reardon is no longer the threat he used to be, but is a stronger option based on Halleys desire to run 25 metres laterally on every carry. If Opta generated stats for sideways running players, he would usurp Phil Ford in an "all time" list, by some margin.

Maybe a little early to put such a heavy burden on these two young guys, but I feel Addy & Southernwood have [ithe potential [/ito be our answer to Maguire & Burrow.
Time will tell I suppose.
It's good to see somes halves coming through.
The more I see of the young crop, the more at ease I feel that future sides might just become competitive again.

No assumption, I know he was injured last weekend. Not a long term one though.

I think Sheriffe would beat them all hands down to be honest. But I maintain that's not the players' choice, it's being coached into them to do it.

You and me both.
I think the history books will record them, and their fellows, as the legacy McNamara left Bradford. Its now up to the club to keep them.

Yeah, same with all Antipodeans, because it never ever rains in Aussie or New Zealand and they are not used to playing on wet tracks.

Got to agree WB, along with Donaldson, Whitehead & Wardle, Addy & Southernwood are great prospects for OUR future.
Last sunday young Cain Southernwood came across for a photo session with some young kids at half time and appeared to be nursing a knock/strain to his leg, I assume thats why he was not in the 17 last sunday.

Heard of private message? Because quite frankly, your hijacking of threads completely unrelated is started to get very boring and annoying. If you wanna do it in public, how about opening a special "Peacock" thread?

Agreed.
We seem to have our backrow for the next few years sorted with Whitehead, Donaldson, Langley, Addy, Olbison coming through. The club also have high hopes for young John Bateman who is apparently "a bit special".
Add to that the likes of the Burgii, Crossley, Lilycrop and O'Brien elsewhere in the pack and things look good.
I just wish we had some backs coming through, only Southernwood at halfback appears to be on the verge of 1st team.

Seems to be the caveat for the whole comp.
When Michael Shenton and Ryan Atkins are championed as our best new young guns, then we have problems.

Can also add the young 16-year old prop they just signed from Cumbria (Liam McAvoy was it?), who they also apparently have high hopes for.

I'd say Wardle has looked decent enough in his brief cameos to get more of a chance too. I haven't seen anyone else who seems to be on the verge though.

| Is Wardle going to come through as a centre? I'm sure Red said he thought he'd make a better loose forward? I for one hope he has it in him to be a centre. From what little I've seen he looks fairly promising.
I remember a few on here rating Ben Hellewell highly too but his injury at the beginning of the season seems to have set him back a bit. Have we any wingers coming through? That's an area where we really could do with an injection of quality.
