I wonder how many Bulls fans will be going?

I'll be going for the match but not stopping over. I'm not a big Blackpool fan.

Definitely will be there, particularly with the Provident competition ticket I won!

I'm going Saturday but not staying over.

I wanted to go to the darts and go out for a few as well but the boss tells me that I have plans on the Sunday morning.

Got the B&B for 3 of us for the full weekend, will get the tickets later should be good seeing different teams play

Personally, I'm not sure I fancy a game against a team that has a large section of fans who hate us, after people have had a full day of drinking before it (in a city that's renowned for drinking), where all the fans are inter-mingled.

I think I might watch that one game this year on the telly.

Dont be such a big girls blouse, its not football and despite us having a number of fans who still think its '98 you should be more than ok. Most Fax fans will be up for a bit of banter and rugby chat and the ones that arnt, well most Fax fans and Bulls fans should simply move away from them because its simply not worth the hassle. They will be in the minority and i for one have really missed the Bradford derbies and their fans whom on the whole I used to find pretty good humoured and some of the best in the league.

Haven't stayed in Blackpool for ages so going Saturday to Monday.

Anyway if you don't like Fax fans you certainly wont like the Leigh or fev lot........

Not a question of not liking Fax fans. I have no problem with them. It's that a certain amount of them don't like us.

During the cup game a couple of years back, there was some quite horrible and nasty stuff being thrown around from a reasonably large section of them stood behind the goals with the Bulls fans. And that's when they've only had a couple of hours in the pub, not all day on a drinking binge in Blackpool.

For the rest of us social drinkers - I've found this on various forum pages.....

I imagine Blackpool will be a bit lairy. That said I’m going up to Newcastle for the Super Duper League shindig (I’m a sellout I know) and Newcastle is the wildest city I’ve been to in the UK for a night out. The decent pubs are greater in number though and easy to find. Stay away from the Bigg Market!

Charlie recommends the Lifeboat just behind the Prom ,or the Swift Hound nearby the ground does decent meals to.Plus a visit to the Tower Circus , not to be missed.

Alas no , the great man passed away in the 80s , and his role was taken over by his son Charlie Jnr , for a while , but the Circus is still going strong , you can get some great overnight deals , I recommend the Big Blue Hotel on the Pleasure Beach , or the Hilton on the North Shore , that is where we Carolis stay .The great man was a Milan Cairoli , myself im one of the Napoli Carolis .Though plenty say im a bigger Clown than the great man .

When I was in the gas club I asked a bloke in a wests Tigers shirt how long he was in Britain for. He was a lancastrian.

But he was that ed he asked me if I wanted to swaps shirts with me for my Bulls one. I was that ed I kept asking him how long he was in britain for.

In the interest of balance, I must point out having some Bulls fans near me at the Saints v Roosters game at the Reebok who had a 'Saints are cheats' Aussie flag!

Well, they have a reputation for voluntary tackles....not that we bear grudges or refuse to let something drop....
