| its been reported on t'other forum that Sky arent allowing any games to be shown on ourleague that clash with their screening of warrington game next monday 17th. This would mean our fixture against newcastle wont be shown. This would seem to go against club advertising all home games being available to season ticket holders on ourleague until fans are allowed back without restrictions on numbers. Seems a bit of an own goal as we moved this fixture to the monday to take advanatage of limited fans being allowed back and now risk annoying season ticket holders who arent able to attend.

There will be a statement made on Monday about this game so please be patient.
It's correct that Sky Sports are not allowing games to be streamed on that Monday as per the agreement with the RFL - no other games can be streamed alongside a Sky Sports game - this agreement has been in place for several years now.
Sky Sports are showing Warrington vs Huddersfield on the Monday evening so no other games can be streamed on that day at that time, that clash with the game. That extends to Super League, Championship and League One.
I appreciate it's frustrating but I can't say any more at this stage. Just wait for a joint statement made by Bradford and Newcastle on Monday.

| But that’s why it was moved to Monday - that’s the date the government said fans would be allowed back in. The number allowed back is what we don’t know yet

Point is it wont be unrestricted entry and club advertised all games with resrtricted entry as being on our league when selling season tickets. They could have just left it on Sunday as originally scheduled and not had this issue. They wont be making much if anything on the gate as majority, if not all, available places will be allocated to season ticket holders. Can't see many traipsing down to Dewsbury for a late kickoff on a work/school night.
Just seems a bit of silly decision all round.

| I would imagine it was changed to Monday on the hope it was back at odsal (final decision Monday but unlikely I’m told) which could have had restricted access but possibly up to 4K which would have done

| The government guidelines state: Outdoor events will be 50% capacity or 4,000, whichever is lower. Wikipedia suggests the capacity at Dewsbury is 5,100. So the club can have around 2,550 fans attend the game. Is that correct?

Believe it depends on the local council which are announcing plans tomorrow.

I understand you are only saying it how it is Mick, but it's daft, How are Sky affected? They already have my, and any other subscription, monies - whether I or anyone else chooses to watch a particular match or not makes not one jot of difference to them. All it does is annoy subscribers.

| Well its a daft situation where Sky block streaming of a game and league they have zero interest in. However, if the club are allowed 2.5k speccies then that should more than cover season ticket holders.
In a way I'll be sad when the streaming ends, it is a lot easier for me to follow the club. I don't have have the time at the moment to get to games each week but streaming is a lot easier for me to fit around family and work commitments.
Ordinarily I'd maybe see only 5 or 6 matches live a season.

Several Championship clubs are requesting to put back these games to the blank 1895 weekend.
Sensible move considering the options to the clubs is to stream the games at 5:45 pm or not at all.
The problem being for big clubs like Bradford with four-figure season ticket sales, that Dewsbury won't be able to accommodate all of them and with no streaming available (only radio) how does that help the season ticket holder?
The sensible options are to move these games away from that Monday evening slot which has now been made impossible by Sky Sports.
I'm fairly confident they'll be a statement tomorrow so just await what the official line is from Newcastle and Bradford.

To be fair it’s not so much about subscriptions because, as you say, Sky already have them. It’s more to do with the fact that they want people to watch that Monday night game and get good viewing figures. Hence why other games cannot be streamed as it will take away viewing figures.
It’s stupid in my opinion. As Bradford vs Newcastle had the potential to get 4k plus viewing plus the people allowed into the ground. Are Sky maybe not allowing this because they aren’t getting a slice of the pie should the game be streamed?

But we (I'll use the royal we) won't be watching will we? We'll be scrambling around to find a radio station giving commentary whilst cursing Sky's stupidity. It's an own goal.

Some people will. I mean, I’ll have the Super League game on in the background whilst listening to the Bulls game. If it was being streamed I’d hook the laptop up to the TV and watch the Bulls. As I say it’s silly. Let’s see what this statement says if it ever gets released!

| Think a week off actually comes at the right time as we were looking a bit battered and bruised after Swinton. Hopefully fresh for a big game against London the week after

Maybe worth asking Sky Sports as they aren't streaming any game Monday and Swinton and Featherstone can get all Season Ticket holders in, so any Bulls Season Ticket holder who is unable to attend wouldn't of been able to watch the game on Monday, now its on the 6th June the streaming option is available, streaming was offered as part of Season Ticket if unable to attend.

| Simple, sky allowed it then, won’t allow it this week. Presumably there were several games planned for Monday which would have taken greater numbers from sky game. Let’s be honest, if sky have a controlling contract, they can one week, and not the week after, if they want to

Simple really. The Saints game was a Challenge cup game.
The challenge cup is broadcast under a completey different broadcast contract to Superleage games.

| Seemed a bit silly planning to play on a Monday anyway. I understand they want to get gate receipts coming in again but can’t see a massive gate (even for first game we’re able to attend in a year), when most people have work or school following day. factoring in extra time to travel dewsbury It would mean not getting home till 11pm on a weeknight.
