Quote ="Nat (Rugby_Aholic)"Your correct about the summer bash, maybe a team should be promoted and given the extra funding available. There are a few players available now. What makes a zero day old Bradford club with no history or track record more worthy than Donny, Barrow or Keighley?
I understand its an emotive subject, but the fact is the new club has no history or standing in the game. Purely a geographical location. Putting the new club into the Championship is a cop out from the RFL who don't want to have to work out the technicalities.'"
It means that the RFL have someone paying the rent on Odsal and contributing to its upkeep. This both spares the blushes of the RFL and its bank balance. Further I would guess that it will be only too happy for whoever it is to take Odsal off its hands completely! The plus side for the incoming club would be £150k to offset costs in the first year, after which the Bulls will be quietly allowed to drop into Ch1, and the RFL will not be left with any white elephants (apart, possibly, from fat Nige).
