For a guy who isn't the biggest prop around he's got a fair bit of 'bump', but maybe second row may suit him better.
At the end of the day, if he's been pumping iron to gain weight for propping he's not going to be at his most agile and with a slight change of emphasis in his training regime he may well become more agile and gain some speed too. I may be being over optimistic but I've never been a big fan of having 'tunnel vision' with regard to what is the best position for a young player.
