Let's get something a bit more contemporarry in rather than all these golden oldies. Nothing wrong with living in the past but we need to make a buck here. Fleetwood Mac! Sounds like some old Apple computer that weighed about 5 tons an ran on magnetic tape!
How about a bit of Asian Dub Foundation? Should go down well with the natives, I like a bit of Buzzin and Real Great Britain. In fact they should play some of their songs on a match day to fire up the crowd, songs like Charge etc when we have the ball instead of the usual annoying trumpety sounds!
. Course, like all decades, it can't be really just be narrowed down to one format and there was lots of good stuff mixed in amongst the dross.
I can empathise with Charlie Watts though, it's bloody hard to play music in the freezing cold and wind. In fact the lads playing guitar in the cold on the last few Sundays deserve a medal as they probably left with fingers rubbed raw in the cold.
