Pleased to see Nick Mason and Mike Rutherford. If Gilmore could have brought himself to be there, to sing Wish You Were Here and ideally play Comfortably Numb, he'd have brought the house down.

Apparently they declined to appear as they were "not in tour mode". The Stones don't do anything half heartedly. Should have featured in one of the medleys though.

Seriously, my daughter, who has experienced an eclectic musical education, though she doesn't know it yet, said "I didn't know all that music was British". It's one of the only things I am still proud to say we lead the world in.

I have no issue with any of the ancient greats not appearing, just a tune or 2 would have been magic. Street Fighting Man would have had a strange irony.
