Only yesterday I watched the 1979 Challenge Cup 3rd round replay between Hull FC and Bradford Northern played at the Boulevard before a 18,000 sell out crowd.

I have over 70 Bradford Northern games on VHS (all are my dads but he's past them down to me) and I can't stop watching them.

For the record we won 8-4 after being 4-0 down at half-time.

I could get Matt to put them onto dvd as he already has quite a few of my old Northern/Bulls vhs tapes.

It's simple, open the bottom half of the touchdown on a Monday, Tuesday etc and show a classic game,

1996 Bradford 20-12 Wigan
1997 Bradford 68-0 Paris
1998 Leeds 22-33 Bardord
1999 Bradford 19-18 Leeds

etc . . . . . . .

People would turn up to watch these games, I know I would as the club would be getting my beer money.

Add a quiz, get a player to show up for a question and answer and your in business.

Mick, do the maths. Number of people times number of pints times profit per pint less staff and premises costs etc etc. And then how many would REALLY turn up?

Can't see it being practicable as a big fund-raiser financially.

How about before games when the bar is open anyway?

I seem to remember being pretty frustrated that game by the performance of a certain future coach...
