Tristam did'nt know the age of the poster and his comments are valid.
There is merit in what they young guy is asking and the results could be informative.
But specific questions have to be asked to elicit specific answers otherwise everything becomes a mish mash of generality.
I would refer the poster first to Tony Collins book "Rugby's Great Split" to appreciate the underlaying schism that still exists from 100 years ago. Weird to believe that our opinoins have been so ingrained for such a long time but they have, and any questionairre for present thinking should be designed to obviate this
