The Pakeezer in Leeds Road has been refurbished and renamed the Saffron. Still a good varied menu but now swish inside and with own car park across the road. Well worth a shout.
IMO if you're taking a party to a restaurant and you don't want to dissapoint them by your choice - Mumtaz is still impressive in decor and food. Bit pricey (i.e. compared only with other Bradford places) but good value and consistent quality. A table by the glass frontage has impressed more than a few London clients.
For a familly Do, I would suggest the 3 Singhs, 254 Sticker Lane on the ring road. Years ago used to be the Stickler pub.
Great access and parking, good food and prices and the best ambience in the city - great service, Asian chic decor, light and spacious, welcomes kids and will tailor a menu for them.
Not a drunks area
We use the early bird times a lot. 5pm - 6.45 it's BOGOF time.
Mondays their take-aways are half price, can fill your freezer for the week!

And maybe a trip to the Westgate.

Great evening lads. The grub was superb and amazingly, given the heat in my kebabs, no after effects…..yet.

Bradford beerfest 2017 was discussed. Definitely an option.

Saltaire beerfest is usually last weekend in February IIRC.

Don't be coming to Saltaire you lot, we have standards you know.
