You're just making me laugh. If you'd really wanted to start a rumour then you should have kept quiet on the boasting (about a Saints player telling you something) and instead told us the rumour - say, Jonny Lomax going to Widnes or whatever it is you say you know. As it is, should a contracted player announce he is leaving us next week, you could claim 'see, I told you so' and it could be total bollox, but we would never know it. So you've ruined your own rumour really, all for a bit of neediness!



So long as the player leaving isn't Roby, Lomax or Foster, I'm not bothered myself. (Given that Pryce isn't contracted in the sense you are meaning)

Are you trying to give clues, I hope to god we have not signed a winger. That would be a disappointment. Wingers we can do without. If people we 50/50 on signing a backrower, signing a winger would be met with very little joy.

Well if we are just holding onto a player then that's fine, I do wonder if the money could not be more effective else where, but time will tell. Still think we are a little short on the prop side, but if Forester ever gets a start maybe I'll change my mind on that one.

Looking at the contracts thread in terms of letting a player go there is a limited choice.

We know that Eastmond and Graham are gone, Pete says it's a first team player, so that leaves Pryce that I would not want to go and Saint 1984 suggests there is a new deal for a player, I thought he was suggesting a Winger. So it's not leaving alot of options, unless we've let someone go how was under contract for longer than 2011. There is only 1 person I can imagine in this case but maybe Moore will be revealed later in the week.

The player leaving is contracted for next season.
