I think thats meant for kids playing, but your point is right. Senior and KC have been the best players in their positions this year, which is actually a little worrying as far as the game is concerned

I'm struggling to see why Moore is in over KC. I know Moore has played some blinders, but KC has been consistently excellent every time i've seen him turn out for you lot.

it might be to do with minutes on the field, KC does around 40-50 were Scott does most of, if not all the game.
That said though i agree with you, he has been the best 9 in the league this year.

what a load of rubbish this post is!! Buderus was simply sublime in attack and defence before he got a freak injury against the pie's and was out playing ever hooker in the comp!! For the record there is not an ounce of fat on him!! (But you know this already, just having a sly dig me thinks)

Got to agree re. Buderus, he is a pleasure to watch. I think I've posted elsewhere that Buderus and Cunningham belong in a league of their own at the top, there isn't a hooker in the division who can touch either of them.

A troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages. NONE of which apply to my post. I post about Kieron Cunningham in a thread titled "Cunningham". He's guilty of several high shots. I don't provoke a reaction, merely state my opinion.

However, another application of troll is that the term is often used as an ad hominem strategy to discredit an opposing position by attacking its proponent. Something which has happened TO me on more occasions than I can remember. However, has anyone else had this kind of warning?

Not that I've seen.

Hence I struggle to take this seriously in anyway.

Your wikipedia-lite definition of trolling is interesting yet not entirely complete. Trolling is a method of fishing where one or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait, this is what your posts are interpreted as by many.

You constantly fish for bites and hide behind the fact that you can use a dictionary and thesaurus and have a good grasp of the english language to hide behind this fact. You make out that you are merely trying to promote meaningful conversation and debate, yet your posting style suggest otherwise.

Ultimately the judgment that someone is a troll is a subjective one, if you feel you are being misidentified as a troll due to the moderation team's interpretation of your behavior and are genuinely interested in a 'straight' conversation then I'd suggest a simple solution - rephrase your views in a less hostile and obviously anti-Saints way. If you stopped that, people would probably respond better to you.

As Saint Simon rightly points out, you are lucky you are not receiving at least another warning for publicly criticising the moderation process. Let this be the end of the matter.

That was not the intention at all. It was simply stating my opinion, the aim of any forum-based website. I think if you were looking for an example of a trolling post from this thread, how about "hudd giants" saying Cunningham is signing for Huddersfield? That wasn't opinion, it was a statement designed to draw a reaction, a trolling post.

How about "nikos" post? Intimating your new stadium won't be complete for another 8 or so years?

The truth is, there are MANY examples, in this thread alone of "trolling". Mine ISN'T one of them, or if it is to be classified as "trolling", it's probably the mildest one you could have picked to warn.

As an ex moderator of several other internet forums, I will say this is the craziest rule I've ever heard of. I think with this post and the examples above, I'll probably get the 2nd warning, but you surely must concede... I've got an unavoidable point, and certain others should have had red writing on their posts.

I'm going to leave it there and say some of us are just going to have to agree to disagree. But once again, thanks to you, Tony, for not following the route of many and posting insults/vitriol/utter balderdash, and setting a great example of how to have a conversation and get your point across in a reasonable gentlemanly fashion without any insults. I think Senior's been luckier with injuries, Cunningham's had a few, maybe they will be the telling factor.

Reckon any bookies will be taking bets, seeing as they take bets on "first coach to be sacked" each year?

If keeping Cunningham means we have no money left for a decent prop we should have cut him loose. Tough to say, but not as tough as our young backs will find it next season with no heavy artillery to blast holes in defensive lines for them. They might as well start planting poppies now.
