in sl he is for sure. i would love to see pryce in the nrl it would make him even better(its a shame we never will) i also think when putting international teams together pryce may struggle with some coaches due to the type of person he is. more and more in the modern game its far more than just how well you can run, kick, pass, and tackle. how you are as bloke counts just as much to coaches at club and international level.

Nobody needs to test themselves in the NRL. Ellis was world class when he played for Leeds and he is World class now! Nothing as changed in his game.

The problem with our England team is lack of depth. Which shows when the likes of 'bog eyes' gets picked each time.

myler got a place for playing the likes of leigh and gateshead last year in national league, obviously that has payed off with performances for club and country. sam has really made an impression on super league and he deserves his chance to travel with the squad. to be honest i can see eastmond/clough/ainscough involved very soon.

he really needs to work on the high ball. it would be like taking candy from a baby for the aussies and kiwis.

Pryce goes missing in Massive games.

McGuire performs in massive games hence the two trys he scored in 08 against you and the 2 winning trys in the CC Semi final off the bench at Huddersfield which you can find on bbc sport.

And his winner against Bradford in 04 where he came up against Pryce again.

Pryce was MISSING for the World cup again and was ragged off the pitch at half time by Smith.

Ask the fans of other clubs who they would rather have in their team.

I would be astounded if the majority didn't choose Pryce, and would expect it to be a very significant majority too.

the thing is what you lot miss every time we talk about this is that most ceo's of clubs and coaches both here and in the nrl all talk about how players are not brought into clubs on just their ability to run, pass, kick, catch and tackle, its also about what you are like as a person and i and i recon alot of fans, coaches and ceo's wouldnt want pryce anywhere near their business/team/club which ever part you represent.

where as mcguire is one of the nicest blokes you could meet. just another reason why mcguire has rep qualities that pryce doesnt

The Manly side that battered Leeds this year and every Kangaroo team in living memory has had some bad apples in it. Some coaches can handle them and get the most out of them, some can't.

yes, and look what trouble they have had. their best player has been in court on sexual assault charges and band by the nrl for a number of weeks after getting smashed at the season launch. also another of the key men in that game got on the plane home and at the manly season launch hit a sponser and tried to touch up said sponsers daughter. plus glen hall racially abused bailey in said game. not what the game wants at all. i would rather get hammerd every week than have that sort of team. but as i said you saints fans miss the point and dont care as long as you win. then again manly are getting hammered most weeks. a lot of pundits like gould put it down to off field disruptions by your so called bad apples.

it would seem that that noble and anderson could not control pryce which is pretty much the coaches who have coached him as a pro to date. so it would suggest he's something of a loose cannon.

clubs in the nrl over the last few years are desprate to get these bad apples out of the game as there is no place for them anymore in rl. if english rl is to progress we need to follow suit.
