| Ryan Boyle has been released by Cas,averages eight metres per carry.
Could be worth a punt dependant on how much he wants.Think he's only about twenty one/two.

| I had excluded Pitts and Amor simply due to the fact I am unsure how much they will actually end up playing.
It is fair though that they should be mentioned if we are talking about squad depth.
The re-done Leeds list looks like;
Prop; Peacock, Kylie, Bailey, Burgess, Pitts, Amor, (Eastwood), (Kirke)
Hookers; Buderus, Diskin, McShane
If we went into it further to include the second row, who make just as much impact as the props Leeds looks like;
Ali, JJB, Ablett, (Kirke), (Eastwood)
I have used ( ) to simply show that they can play there if necessary, Eastwood and Kirke will interchange between the 2 positions i expect but largely do the same job regardless where they play.
I wont say its the best back in SL as I will just be accused of bias, but as a Leeds fan i'm pretty happy with it for next season ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif) (Should Peacock get an injury though i do wonder where our yards will come from, I suppose that might be the same with Graham at the Saints).

I actually prefer our front row if i am honest. Having Moore back next season i wonder if Roby will end up playing 13, or Cunningham second row.....not sure how Potter will work around that but its a nice problem to have!
Other than Puletua, I dont really rate your back row. That not me being a biased Leeds fan, I just dont think Wilkin is as good as people make out (i accept I dont see him play week in / week out). Flannery is solid if not spectacular and that goes for Clough as well.
I am not saying the Leeds second row is 'awesome' but its comparable imo.

| I think we can add Soliola to the back row as Wheeler has to continue at 4.
We have a big enough pack now to cope though:
Graham
Moore
Fozzy
Tony P
Soliola
Clough
for the games against the mean packs.
Can change it to a more lightweight pack bringing Wilkin and Flannery in too.
Good options to have, especially off the bench now.

| I'd like us to take a close look at Chris Feather, who's just been released by Cas. He'll be cheap as chips, as he's out of a job, and I've always thought he had the size, but just never looked as if he was getting the coaching. Not enough aggression. Maybe a change of coaching, with the knowledge it's last chance saloon, would do the trick. Sign him on a 1 year deal, if he doesn't make it, let him go again, no harm done.
EDIT : Actually, I've just looked at his injury record. I think you'd want to pay him Old Skool style on a match by match basis. Poor bugger's made of polystyrene.

| Clough is precisely the no nonsense second rower we need playing for England. He'll take balls up all day and tackle his heart out. He'll take the ball up relentlessly and allow classier players to open up the gaps.
And his death stare will scare the shi'ite out of the convicts.

It's dependent on where Eastmond sees his future. If he's moving on I would give Moore the 7 and have Kyle fill in wherever needed. In fact I think Moore will get first run at 7 regardless, especially if KC and Roby are both fit at the start of the season.

As I posted above, I agree with what you say:
Quote ="SFW"I think they have better strength in depth than us at prop, and their second rowers all have some size and carry the ball well, which can't be said of ours.'"
I'm pleased with the pack we've got for next year but I think Leeds would cope with injuries better.

He's got O'Loughlin and Jones-Buchanan to contend with for that role. Westwood seems to be a favourite of Smith's aswell. Don't think Clough will be in the squad.

Looks like it's going to be a tough year for someone to break into the top two with those. I think our pack has more yards and probably a bit more consistency in it, however Leeds look a bit stronger next year as well although you wonder how long Superman can keep going for them.

To respond to your earlier post, I think it's generally wise to steer clear of props who lack aggression, whether they're big or not. IMO a good prop has to have a psychotic disregard for his own health, and that's something that's either in your nature or isn't - it can't be coached. Look at Rickey Bibey.

| Joel Clinton is the 'other forward' we're looking at?
Apparantly he was being touted to Hull KR for next season but was removed from the table by his agent and they have made an offer to Sam Moa instead.
Believed to have signed for a Super League club...
Moa has resigned for Hull. KR are supposed to be choosing between 3 NRL props, Kafusi and Clinton being the big name two.
