I'd agree with that. Wire actually have over 8000 season ticket holders. Saints should be able to match that at least. I would expect the first game (at a guess against Widnes) to be a sellout, as will Wigan and Wire, with Leeds and Hull also bringing in good crowds. I would be amazed if you got a single crowd under 10,000 next year. Great for Saints, great for RL.

To be fair, I think the season tickets have been great value.

We went to buy 2 adult tickets, worked out at £202 each, but ended up getting a family ticket with 2 adults and a child for £394.

Bargain for the 3 of us to go!

That's good news just hope the trend continues. There is still a few weeks yet for renewals so after that we should get some idea on sales figures.

How many is that? 4,000? 5,000?

Seeing as our semi final allocation was significantly less than the number of season ticket holders I would suspect we have more than that. Given that our lowest Widnes SL attendance was 6,050 I would imagine we have very close to that as I don't believe we had 200 walk up fans against Harlequins let alone 2,000.

Well as expected the club now tell us there is nothing they can do about it and we have lost that seat. In fact they cannot offer us anything in that stand which is even half decent.
The woman in the shop after waiting nearly an hour said "oh yeah your the guy whose seat we sold, its a disgrace" then "there is nothing we can do, we can offer you slightly worse seats but in the south stand next to the suits".

We are now considering out position!

How many seats in what area are you looking for? They will be able to provide you with a seat in most if not all blocks of the North Stand once the renewal deadline is past.

4 seats (they sold the third one along of these to some random stranger). We were in block E in the north stand either 7 or 11 rows up depending who you believe about numbering and whether there are three unmarked rows a pitchside.
They said for some reason they couldn't explain this seat wasn't entered properly into their computer system.

Its a good idea for you to suggest this, but we would be taking a big risk that someone decides not to take up their option on 4 peach seats. I don't think it will happen - there will be some odd scragg ends left.
If the seats they offfer us turn out to be sh*te and we have been lied to again, then I simply won't renew after next season and I'll get a seat at the HJ (that last bit is a joke obviously).

Think I might write to Tony directly.

South Stand blocks e and g, just either side of the half way line are possibilities but I can see your frustration.

Yes you are right - we were right on the half way line. They are apparently offering us seats in row g in the south stand so its not the complete end to the world.

Block G is good. In the South Stand you will also be with a higher calibre of person.

Was listening on the radio last night and the commentators seamed to suggest that the match programme mentioned that season ticket sales at Saints where running at record levels.

Not being there it's hard to tell what this means. Have we sold more than ever before already? Or have we sold more than we ever have done before at this time of year?

The first would be a great sign of progress, the 2nd would be expected, given that alot of season tickets where sold on a 5 year deal or a 2 year deal to fix prices.

Chair has posted some outline figures in the stadium thread

All boxes are sold out for the season & less than 200 premium seats remain = roughly 1,000 corporate sales
Approx 1,000 allocated South stand seating
Approx 2,500 allocated North stand seating

On top of that there are all the family seats and unallocated blocks we have no idea how many have gone in them

Standing, based on this year we have around 2,000 season ticket holders in the "West" (East at Widnes) and you would expect there to be significantly more sold before the start as it is the only standing area.

Latest estimate on reserved ticket sales having calculated the greyed out boxes on Saints website.

Some areas now have a few more places available than last week possibly due to people moving seats or me miscalculating by the odd seat or two.

Anyway here are my estimated sales as of today

North stand

C block 541 sold
D block 521 sold
E block 543 sold
F block 519 sold
G block 451 sold

This makes for a total of 2575 seats sold in the North stand reserved section, I make it 206 seats unsold in the North stand reserved area.
An increase of 56 on the previous week.

South stand

C block 13 sold
D block 273 sold
E block 181 sold
F block all premium seating
G block 263 sold
H block 122 sold
I block 216 sold

This makes for a total of 1068 Seats sold in the South stand reserved seating. An increase of 162 on the previous week

quick question - i have 2 season tickets in North Stan Allocated. if I wanted then to take 2 other friends / family members along to a match I take it i could buy them tickets in North Stand Unallocated and then go and sit with them?

You're probably better popping on to the Saints website and asking the same question on the season ticket forum section. Saints have been answering a lot of questions on there.

I should think you would have to pay again for an unallocated seat because you have paid for your allocated seat, which would not be sold again if you didn't use it as it is reserved for you.

Taking friends along was one reason I chose the West Stand although whether there will be any 'unallocated' spaces left by the time the season starts I don't know. I might just ask that question myself on the Saints site, now I come to think of it!
