It's getting there. This summer, we ran two teams at U16s and U14s, alongside our two open age teams and U11s and U12s playing RL festivals. We hope to add an under 18s next summer to put a step between under 16s and open age.

What's your relationship like with Northampton RU side.

For a young man developed in a Union rich environment he looks an excellent prospect on those highlights, some lovely tries not just pace, undoubtedly very quick but strong with a nice hand off, step and swerve, I'd like to see his debut in the Saints-Widnes game on YouTube and a few more trial games.

Obviously that level is a world away from SL so a work in progress for 12-18 months at least, but there is definitely bundles of potential, well done on to Saints on the broad scouting and he is a credit to Northampton RL's junior development I hope he takes the chance he has earned.

Probably about the same as the rest of Northampton's amateur rugby clubs. We've had a couple of their first teamers down to coach sessions (I'm sure you can guess which two!) and occasionally see their players down watching our games.

How did Stevie Ward play for Leeds (usually plays at loose forward) he was outstanding v Wigan a few weeks ago.

I also believe that Leeds had a winger playing who won the fastest man race last year, and he broke clear in his own half and Brotherton turned and caught him on the half way line. I wasn't there, just what i've been told.
