it should be this side of the Pennines, it wont be though.
With Wire/Cats to be played over this side, then presumably they will want to spread it round a bit - also, the RFL will do anythig to pander to Leeds (could it even be at Elland Road???)

Leeds have more fans, if the game is slightly closer to Leeds it is better for the gate reciepts, everyone wins on the financial front
st helens is just a small town in wigan so having the game at home for them is too much of an advantage icon_razz.gif |

Obviously I'd rather it be in Lancashire, but I'll be there wherever. Not been a Semi Final since 2006 as I've always been on my jolly bobs, but it doesn't clash this year. I CANNOT wait for this one, it's a massive game.

Did anyone expect Catalan to beat Wigan? Did anyone expect Huddersfield to beat us last season (apart from you...)?
Its not out the question, its unlikely, but if Warrington go in with the same mentality as there fans, then theres a shock on the cards. |

| Unbelievable arrogance and cocky attitudes from the dire fans considering 1 trophy in what 30+ years? And have they even ever made a super league play off semi final yet?  Catalans have nothing to play for in the league and with a few bodies back and there sole focus on the semi final i can see them running dire close. |

I just think its a shame that once again it will be one of the bigger teams playing a lesser team. We have not had two "bigger" teams in the final since 2004
