Personally, I reckon an ideal and realistic prop to replace Cayless is David Ferriol at Catalans. He wouldn't cost that much and is a very good player IMO. He's 6ft 3in and 17st 2lbs and would be a great impact prop. In the games against Wigan and Bradford he was outstanding going forward and really changed the game coming off the bench. He's also got a good offload game.

Good call and a good player. But I'd much prefer the strong French players to play for Catalans as they will only replace any departures with more anonymous NRL players.

I'd take Steve Price in an instant. He's still awesome now and who better for Emmett and Frodsham to learn from?

I dont doubt his class, but he's 35, so i doubt we'd get more than 1 season out of him.

We definitely need a new prop. Cayless looks shot which is a crying shame as he's been a great player for us.

I think the Justin Poore rumours have some legs. He's only 24, makes good yards and if my sums are right he would have been coached by Mr Potter for a couple of seasons whilst Harry was looking after the Dragons Premier League team.

A centre would be nice too but Gidley looks like he could go around again and we've not really missed Talau so I'm not sure we'll take the plunge. I think the form shown by our young guns will mean we leave the centre berth for another year. Don't forget Foster will be another year older.

Despite him being 35, he still plays Origin and for Australia so I doubt he'd give that up.

He might if he could get a lucrative 3 year deal in SL for his retirement fund. I would be reluctant, however. He would (rightly) command a high wage and I can't look past his age.

I don't think we need a world beater, but a good workhorse who's heavy enough to make a contribution against the better sides (where sometimes Bryn struggles).

Andy Lynch tempts me, but he's had injury problems of late.

35 year old Aussies are not the way to go, regardless of quality.

Exactly, for me (graham is an obvious exception) Props are at there best 28 - 32 on average when they are still young enough to run, but a bit bigger in stature.

Given that Frodsham, Emmitt and Yates look pretty good at the moment 1 year of a 35 year old Steve Price may be all we need. I imagine we would have signed Wiki if he had not been after a longer contract.

Remember Kevin Ward was 35 in his last season for us and would have probably played on for another year or 2 if he had not got injured.

We would probably get some stick but who cares. I don't understand the mentality that a 23 year old 2nd grade/fridge player is better than a 30+ year old international.

Looking at the centres Ropati and Soliolla would be excellent signings but i doubt they will come over here in their prime.

Oh and the guy that said Moi Moi would be a good young signing forgot 2 things.

1. He is 30 next year.
2. He is a show pony.

Anyone that thinks we need a left centre right now has clearly not been going to any games this year.

In the end we will only know where we need to make signings at the end of the season when we know which young players will be ready and which won't.

But back to the fun, my rumour for next year is........
