It was indeed, there are some dreadful restaurants using the 'Argentinean' name - but when you get to an authentic one, some great quality and flavours. My beloved insists we eat at one every time she joins me - either at Gouchos (opposite the the Crowne Plaza Hotel) or El Ranchos down at Liedersplien.

| He did very good in the centre today.
Very good near there line with his good footwork.
Can't see him getting the stand off role for good few years yet but looks to have makings of good centre.
Has he got any pace?

He certainly had when he was younger, but a few injuries appear to slow him down. However, if he stays fully fit then he may be able to get some of it back.
Only time will tell.
What's happened to Jamie Foster?

He don't look to have much pace but it's hard to tell until he breaks thru and gets in clear.
Looks to ave great footwork and looks a danger near the line.
Not seen or heard of foster for long while.
Looked to small to me foster did. Maybe saints building him up.

Agreed. He was good stuff and I hope we get to see him much more often in matches, like every match perhaps? He might not be playing his first choice position but I like the attitude in that he works hard no matter where he plays even though ultimately he wants to play number 6.

| He's clearly a better centre than Gilmour IMO and should be playing there every week, or at least until there is some evidence of him not being able to hack it.
He's all class and needs game time.

| I think Francis Meli deserves plaudits for how he handled the game today. He stayed true to his word and put in a great performance today, the first chunk of his repayment to the other players for missing the start of the season made today. He looked after Wheeler well today, protecting him and coming out of the line perfectly to stop a few situations which could have left Wheeler stranded out of position.
Wheeler does look class with the ball in his hands, he has a very similar step to Leon's. I can't see why Wheeler can't have the centre spot at least for the remainder of the season.

| Wheeler will make, at the very least, a second tier centre like Ryan Atkins. He could even go on to be a top tier centre.

Ryan Atkins would be the top British centre if he moved to one of the big clubs. He outplayed Gleeson and Carmont (I've still to see what the fuss is all about, he simply does nothing!) the other day.

I agree atkins looked good against the pies. Big and strong.

He's far too young for Saints.
When did Wigan go full time or have you gone into hiding?

| Watching Wheeler today i liked his attitude.
There was a time near the end of the game when a penalty got given against him for holding down(or may have been stripping the ball) and the french player got up and give him a shove on the side of the head, he didn't react or go to fight back but just turned and rushed off back to his position.
He seemed a real level headed lad in his interview aswell. His temprement reminds me of Roby.

Top lad. Think he'll do well, always looks dangerous when he's got the ball and finishes well.
People might not like me saying it, but he reminds me of Danny McGuire when he runs the ball.

He injured his knee in the Reserve game against Bradford(?) a couple of weeks back. It was thought he might need an operation but thankfully that won't now be necessary.

Meli has been putting in big performances all season, under the high ball, he has been solid, and he has been running the ball strongly too. Why do fans continue to down him, when he has been one of our better performers?

| Wheeler was great yesterday. For me he is rapidly earning a permanent place in the starting line up. Gilly has said he doesn't like being a centre, so put him back in the pack and wheeler at centre.

Loved that! As did Clare B by the sounds of it. I'm glad he got on national TV. That'll give him a boost! Though he sounds pretty grounded and plays like he is too.

| If I had a foot fetish, I'd be in love with Wheeler. His footwork is immense. Like OM, I can elements of the Weasle in his jinking and stepping. He also appears to have the power to him, and can actually organise a side.

He's a natural 6 i think, but with leon here i think his best prospects at saints lie at centre, after all Jamie lyon is a stand off who has found centre his best position.

I'd describe Lyon as a centre who had a go at playing stand-off.
Long term I'd like to see Wheeler in the 6 shirt, hopefully alongside Eastmond, but as you say the likelihood is that Leon will be around for a few years yet and has made the stand off position his own. So for the time being lets give him an extended run at centre. Presuming Leon stays with us until the age of 31-2, that would leave a vacant stand off shirt when Wheeler is aged around 22-3.
