Bans would be nice, wishing injuries is a bit too far.
I still believe that if we can get all our key players fir for the play-offs it won't matter who is on the opposition as we'll have an incredibly good chance of trophies.
Eastmond/Pryce/Lomax/Roby/Wilkin is as good a 1/6/7/9/13 spine as anyone in SL and is good enough to win trophies IMO.

We need Cloughie back. We'd then have Graham/LMS/TP/Clough as four props.
Our first choice pack (excluding Perry) is still strong IMO. One absence and we're OKish (Magennis), any more and we're toast. TP should be propping for the rest of the year IMO given relative strength in the back row:
Graham
Roby
TP
Flannery
Soliola
Wilkin
LMS
Clough
Moore
Wheeler
All you need is Clough, dum dee dum dee dum.

| It has to be the Wire every time TBH, also add the fact that Wigan wouldn't have played at Wembley in 13 years and counting makes it more enjoyable..

| Given their new foud arrogance after back to back challenge cup wins, and their fans general disrespect to other clubs, and the fact that their fans think it's great to sing "Sh*t, Sh*t, Sh*t Helens" to me in front of my three year old daughter, Might i add being brought up supporting the Saints, i'd go for a Wigan win despite their continued arrogance that they deserve to win everything they compete for since the early 90's!
Having said that though, my inlaws are Warrington Fans so for them i would want a Wire win...

| On a purely pragmatic level I'd like Warrington to win. I think Wigan have the measure of us tactically at the moment, and there's work to be done before we can take them in a big game. Warrington have a fantastic squad but on a good day we can beat them, I reckon.

| Interesting one this, 2 seasons ago I would have shouted 'Warrington' without hesitation.
However from Warrington's recent 'success', a strong vein of their fans have such an unbearable arrogance that I'm not sure I could stand it if they won 3 in a row. Couple this with the fact that these arrogant fans also seem to have a large amount of ignorance when it comes to rugby league knowledge then it becomes slightly edged to Wigan for me.
At least most Wigan fans generally know what they're talking about in Rugby League discussions. Wigan to win for me.

strong vein of fans..............? about ten simpletons on the internet more like.
and the average RL discussion with a wigan fan goes like this
"is "... insert Wigan Players Name here..." the best " ...insert his position here..." in the World ?"
I have yet to see a topic on the Wire board where any Wire fan thinks Billy Slater is Rubbish and not as good as say Brian Johnson or Dave Lyon....
but if thats how you feel

| I love the 'trouble with the Wire fans is they're all arrogant' speech.
Wigan fans practically invented the word and us Wire fans have had their arrogance rammed down our throats for years, the 2nd we even remotely mention anything positive we're arrogant?
What's wrong with us saying we have a great team when we so evidently do right now?
What's wrong with saying we think we'll win games when we are 2nd and have the shield in our own destiny?
The trouble with all these successful teams is they can't take another mouth at the table of meagre offerings.
Arrogant maybe, but Wigan and to a slightly lesser extent Saints have been guilty of it in bundles.

I would have agreed with you before our match at the HJ but now I'm not so sure. With Pryce back in action and Eastmond at fullback, and who knows who else fit and firing ... I'd say you've caught up to us at last.
It would be an interesting contest between us if we both played a match with a fully fit team each.

| Where do you get this Wire "arrogance" from. We have a good team at the moment and have had stick off most of you for lots of years when you've clearly been the better side. We have won more the past two years and most of the banter is just a bit of payback. Most Wire fans probably don't think we can win the grand final due to not being great in close games. Come on our board trying to belittle us and you're gonna get stick back. We have a good team at the moment and have come along way in the past two years. We're good now after years of medicoruty and some of you have a problem dealing with it for some reason. We have a good youth system in place, players like Chris Hill and Waterhouse want to come to us now, our own stadium, a great coach and in Simon Moran we have a backer who will pretty much spend whatever it takes for us to be successful if needed. We don't have the recent history that Saints and Wigan have, we hopefully have a lot to look forward to in the future. To join together in an a'rse kissing contest with your fiercest rivals is both cringeworthy and lame. Accept that we're a decent setup now instead of being bitter about it and moaning.

Here! Here!
We've some much flack and pi$$ taking over the years from you lot. Not to
mention all the put downs and arrogance that 'you'll never beat us'.
Funny how things change. 2 CCs in a row for us and nowt in 3 years for
you so expect to get some stick back. I also know which team and club
i'd rather be with at the moment and it's not Saints. Am I being
arrogant in saying that?
