I would say he has done the job required of him. He was asked to stop the rot and he has, in fact he has got us into a position far beyond what I expected at the time he took over. Yes he has culled the youth experiment, but his outcomes justify the means.

I agree, Rush has done a good job since taking over. He's lost to just one team (albeit three times) and two of those games were still competitive. The resilience and spirit shown against Catalans gives us some hope towards the end of the season.

I'm not questioning the job Rush has done in terms of stabilising us, but if we're signing Meli and Wellens to contract extensions and losing Foster and Gaskell to Super League rivals, I can't see how his selection policy benefits us in the long term.

I very much doubt next year's squad plans are part of Rush's current job description. McManus and Brown will be the ones in discussions about that I imagine.

Exactly. If they have decided to move on then I imagine they have been told by brown that they aren't going to figure in his plans any more than they have in rushs plans.

Your correct, we was helped out big time by the video ref but how you can question the effort, desire and heart in that game is laughable.

We didn't touch the ball for 20 mins and defended many back to back sets in the first half. It was also backs to the wall in the second half but we defended our hearts out.

The attitude of the players and desire has increased 100% under Rush and KC.

What that has to do with my initial point showing of us spirit and resilience I'll never know. They had more possession than us and their forwards were largely on top but we stood up to it. We conceded just two tries whilst showing some fantastic defensive efforts namely Makinson's effort in the corner to prevent a try. That type of resilience wins you big games.

Swings and roundabouts - Puletua should NEVER have been sent off hence we should've had the ball in the 1st place.
