Existing stand season ticket holders will be allocated tickets in the new stadium in the two central blocks. I see, did you have to pay the whole lot up front or could you sign up for the DD scheme?

Thats interesting,
Wonder how they will handle main stand season ticket holders who are looking to sit alongside friends/family who currently stand up.
Would be hard if they said, Sorry folks you need to sit on the 20 yard line.

We paid up front to get it out of the way. (We decided to just get a yearly one for now ( £230 adult £161 conc. NO student conc. though so they will have to pay adult prices.) but we can get the longer term ticket next time) You can set up your DD scheme though.

| Here's a question.
Now, I am looking at sitting alongside the touchline from now on, behind the sticks is not for me, so I and a few others want to get decent seats together. Is there a mechanism as yet where we can choose where we want to sit or do we just blindly buy a season ticket for the stand alongside the pitch and hope for the best?
I kind of got the tale end of Tony Colquitt saying that they were unsure as yet as to whether to have reserved or unreserved seating throughout.

Yes. If you are a ground season ticket holder now. You can go to the ticket office and choose your seat but you cannot have one of the two central blocks as that is being held back for present stand season ticket holders. You have to pay up front or DD for next seasons tickets before you can choose your seat in the new stadium. The stand that would be opposite our present stand (i.e. our pop side ) is being used for corporate boxes etc.

Yes there definately is an early bird scheme. You will have to read up the leaflet though as I can't find mine at the moment.

Seems a bit unfair to me that. Ideally I'd like a seat near the top on the halfway line or 40m line. Will we be denied this because of those who usually sit in the stand even though I stand in that place on the current terrace?

I agree that this is unfair, I am a season ticket holder and may possibly loose my usual position with the family due to it being held for others. We should all get equal pickings in my eyes!
Quote The stand that would be opposite our present stand (i.e. our pop side ) is being used for corporate boxes etc.'"
Does this mean that the Popular side is being moved and if so whereabouts to in the stadium? I can not imagine going to the match and not being surrounded by the wall of sound that the popular side makes (on a good day), Would the corporate boxes not be higher up like at leigh?
I am confused and need answers prior to me picking my seats........Are there people at KR in touchlines giving this advice out all week as I only spoke to scully for about 2 mins on Sunday before the match.......!
Unreserved season tickets that are in the centralised seats (new popular side!) would be a good option in one stand and reserved seats (new family stand!) in the other in my opinion with anyone being allowed to fill in the rest of the stadium by paying on the day.

That is the impression we got from a rather lengthy chat with one of the officials on Sunday. It will all become much clearer shortly or I hope it will. We always stand on the pop side about a third of the way up on the halfway line. Ideally I would have liked to have had seats in the same area but it is not to be unfortunately. The reason given for giving stand season ticket holders the first choice of their seats in the two blocks is that they have been paying out more money for games in a seated area for years. While the rest of us have been paying less to stand.

| Quote ="Tony Stark"I'm just about ready to give up on you fella, honestly. The club have done everything they can to get us in a new stadium.
As Big Mac and Marie Rimmer stated pre-kick-off its been a real battle to get the project off and running - take that as political spin if you like but its true.
[size=150Widnes will no doubt get a tidy penny from us for use of the Halton[/size but I suggest the cost of renting will be comparable (if not less) than the small fortune we pay for upkeep of knowsley road. Percentages of ticket sales, concessions and the additional sponsorship & corporate hospitality we can bring to what they already have will no doubt contribute towards the money we pay Widnes too. The commercial side of the club should not be affected.
IF crowds at Widnes only average 4 or 5 thousand it will be down to people like YOU. I (perhaps blindly) have faith that the majority of our fans go to home games to support the team NOT because the stadium is close to where they live.'"
The Stobart Stadium is owned lock stock and barrel by Halton Borough Council; the Widnes club won't see any money from this arrangement
As a Widnes fan however, I'll certainly make a point of coming along to see a few Saints games
Will be nice to see some Super League one year early

East, I think. It is whichever is the end furthest away from town. The home end is the end closer to town, which I would imagine would be west but I don't know how the ground is going to be situated on the site.

From my visit to the shop today they said seating season tickets are only available in the North and that the South is for corporate/sponsors/directors and may be available for non-ST holders. There are no season tickets in South stand.

So the Popular side and Family Stand are going to merge and the other stand will be for the highest bidding companies and so on?
Surley there will not be enough room in one stand for these to be merged and a massive gap would be left on the other side of the pitch?
I normally like the unknown but this is doing my head in now.........We need some information to be confirmed by the club, I think I will pop into Turnstiles this week to see if I can get any more info out of them!!

| I will be renewing mine and the daughters season tickets for next season, I also want to buy the wife and son one this year (they do not currently hold them), is it possible to aquire them all in the early bird period and then book our seats at the new stadium together?
If not would ths mean us either sitting apart or me and the daughter not being able to take advantage of the early bird offers and also missing the good seats at the new stadium?

| I'm currently a season ticket holder but i cant get to touchlines this week.
1. How much a month is the direct debut for the 5 season tickets and over how many years ?
2. If i get my 'seat' will i have to go on my own to home games? What if my Girlfriend or brother want to come along, will they beable to seat near me or will these seats be taken by other season ticket holders ? I couldent stnd being stuck near some of the fickle gits who are usually in the pop side.
Thanks.

North Stand £19.08 per month for 60 months.
The latest info I can work out is the 4 central blocks in the North Stand are reserved seating(the middle 2 of these are currently only available to present seated season ticket holders.)All other blocks in the stand are not reserved(despite original info being all seating would be reserved.)
I guess you could get a season ticket for an unreserved block and, assuming the whole stand doesn't sell out,you could then take someone without a season ticket and sit together.
We are having the same problems at the moment as friends who miss matches due to Friday work commitments won't be getting season tickets. We may well end up behind the sticks instead.
