When's the cladding going on anyone?

No confirmed date, but it'll be in the new year. Doghead has posted a few times that it's touch and go whether it'll be ready for the opening game though.

IMO it needs doing before the start of the season if it's possible.

Will the cladding be in the two corners of the north stand? The corners are wide open and that's my only complaint about the new stadium.

the cladding will be in the two north corners but wont reach to the roof level, it will round the rest of the three stands.

First one, are these the cladding boys??

Paragon are the guys running the internal fit out.

If we are getting Kalzip cladding then Corus will probably use their own cladding experts to fit the stuff

I suppose these are the secondary dressing rooms for use by cheerleaders, academy players etc

Nah they where fitting Eamonns Jacuzzi and working on the Helipad above.

Glad I am not sat directly behind the players or anywhere near the access tunnels...obstructive views abound. You would think they could design some super strong clear plastic for the same purpose...

There wont be any obstruction because for a start a persons head is about 3-4 feet above the level of a seat, in addition when looking from your seat you are looking down and across, therefore the steel and concrete is below the eye level and not causing an obstruction.

Just looking on a stadium construction website and notice that the Huston Dynamo soccer team are getting a new stadium that has perforated cladding. Though not of the same style as ours. This is their concourse which looks vaguely like the ones at Saints and this is their perforated cladding being affixed to the back of the stadium Link to construction website www.houstondynamo.com/news/2011/ ... erior-skin have to say their seat ordering system is somewhat more advanced than Saints, or for that matter many premiership football clubs houstondynamo.io-media.com/

That type of cladding would look alot better than cladding with round holes in it. It actually looks quite smart, kind of like a wire mesh effect.
