Says in today's star that the perry deal could involve jammer moving the other way to manly and the roosters are sniffing around as well. Probably ballacks from a comic paper like the star but you never know

If they can't afford perry for salary cap, they can't afford jammer

But Perry's coming towards the end of his career, Manly obviously know this and may be using the salary cap as an excuse to push Perry out, and in his place sign a youthful Graham.

If Graham or any other British players want to test themselves in the NRL, they will undoubtedly sign a contract worth less than they could have achieved with a SuperLeague club just as Burgess has. Perhaps the challenge of a tougher competition coupled with a better climate is enough to justify excepting a lower paid contract.

I heard they were letting Perry go to resign their young halfbacks up on lucrative contracts.
