and how many super league crowns have they won now every team in super league are fully professional? Am I right in saying it's once?lol. They've won a few games this season and are getting a bit too cocky now. I'm looking forward to a trip to Knowsley road. It's just a shame that it wasn't in Barrow as it probably would have been a bigger payday for us, with a 8,000 sell-out for sure, plus all the spin-offs. I'm sure our boys will give 100% and hopefully we'll give you a game.

I know the gate is split, but I'm not sure what size crowd there'll be. The attendances at Super League clubs for this years Challenge Cup games have been appalling. We'll be missing a lot of money on bar takings etc.

I agree the attendances have been very poor, about 1000 less people went to Toulouse game than had free tickets with their season ticket!

Terrific draw for us and Catalans. We might just see two non-Yorkshire semi-finals so none of us will have to trapse over there this year for a change. Obviously that depends on Wigoon beating the champions which is the least easy to predict game.

I fancy Warrington will beat Bradford so if it's a top three and Catalans semi-final line-up it has to be us v Warrington because there'd be nowhere to play Wigoon v Warrington although I don't think they sold out last time when they were at Widnes did they? I can't see Leeds losing to that shower. Wigan are doing well, but at heart they are mid table wasters with no class. Leeds will stop acting like mid table wasters and paste them.

The raiders average gate is around 2000 fans, so I would estimate around 500 to 800 travelling fans. Saints fans need to support this game to give Des there chairman some cash from the game, he's believed to be going into a cash flow problem.

We took at least 1,200 to Cas, 3,500 to the Northern Rail Cup final and 4,500 to the Grand Final, so as I said, upwards of 2,000 WILL be going to Knowsley road. In last years Challenge Cup match at Craven Park vs Wigan it was a sell-out of at least 6,500, with Wigan getting just 1,200 tickets.

The local soccer team Barrow AFC won the FA Trophy at Wembley last Saturday and took 8,000 fans. They took 8,000 across to Sunderland for the FA Cup as well. Their average gate in the Conference is 1,300-odd.

The point being that when there is a big game on, the Barrow public turn up. As they would if the RFL ever gave a Super League license to Cumbria.
