i think the atmosphere in the new stadium will be as good if not better than kr. We will have a bigger attendance, and all undercover. It the fans that make the atmosphere, not the stadium

If Saints rebuilt the clubhouse end and and the Main Stand they would have a cracking ground. No need to move plus there is quite a bit of room to do this in.

What annoys me most is the RFL threatening clubs when they can't get there own house in order. The game is crying out for international status to raise the profile of the game with the sporting bodies.
Yet the RL don't have an international stadium to call there own, major sponsors are now global yet the RFL are quite happy with regional sponsors.
Then they expect clubs to spend tens of millions on new ground, whilst introducing new clubs into superleague with little or no support to finance the game.
Also if the Football FA or RU passed a ruling that only one sporting code can only played in there stadiums then the likes of Wigan, Hull, Huddersfield, Harlequins, Celtic would not exist.

I think the best descriptive is a very old, tired stadium. But it does have one of the best playing surfaces and best grounds for atmosphere.
Also you have a marvelous grass frontage where pre match you can have a sunshine picnic, sit on the grass with a beer, kids can play in safety.
