If we have Hindmarsh to do the donkey work, Wilkin can be a more ball-playing backrower.

I'm with Ashmeister on this one. We have plenty of grafting back rowers already. The one thing we are missing (and have been since Anderson retired) is a big brute of a front rower who guarantees yards forward, regardless of who the opposition are.

I don't think we can afford to lose KC, Gidley, Long and Cayless all at once. If we do lose them, then I would say we have to look at recruiting two more players for our squad even if Eastmond, Wheeler, Soliola and Moore take up spots within the side.

IMO, we need a workhorse prop and maybe a back.

The thing is, people are already saying we don't have enough depth in the squad. If we lose them four players, and replace them with the four you named, then we will be even lighter in the squad as two of those players already take up 2 squad places. IMO, we need to keep Long, Cunningham and Gidley, and look to replace Cayless with a big prop. Then we will have the current squad, plus a prop forward to replace Cayless and then Moore and Soliola in the squad. I'd also look to bring in another back, preferably a very quick one, that can add a bit of compeition and pace to the side.

At best that is just for 2011 and by then surely your kids will have stepped upto the plate,otherwise you'll lose them?

I agree to some extent. I think he has been very poorly handled by Hull. He should be a world beater by now.
I remember watching him play against Israel Folau in the academy internationals v australia and he was every bit a match for Folau.

It says a lot about UK player development that Folau is regarded as one of the worlds best players, while Hull have ditched Hall for some journeyman

Where would we fit him in though? I'd take Wheeler at centre before him and Lomax at full back.

He needs to move somewhere where he'll be taught how to defend pretty quick though.

1 British prop = Mcarsbrook or Coley

1 Aussie = Kite or Tronc

I'd be happy with LMS and either of the ozzies, coley i can't decide on. Why would wigan let him go? He is, this season anyway better than Brynn, but no where near Graham/Carvell/Peacock/Morley level.

Decent back up for injuries and he'll be on cheap money Imo.

would he come if thats his role? He could play first team rugby in most SL teams. We could use Frodsham in the same role for us until he can bulk up and become a regular.

People are complaing about us having no back up props. We need a Baloo / Fozzard type of player who can come in and do a job. Coley as never won a medal, a squad player might be his ownly chance.
