It is at our place, the cup game is in Leeds.

| I think we will play much better this week than we have been doing. Leeds are two comp. points ahead of us - by way of a late penalty against us and losing the match by one point (HKR). If we don't win it is not the end of the world. Last season and the season before Leeds were ahead of us during the season but we still managed to finish above them in the league positions. It is just that this time we need to beat them when it really matters i.e. CC and GF. Looking at Leeds matches so far they are not the team they were last season and the same can be said of us. I still stick with Joynty's saying. 'Never write the Saints off' Come on you Saints we know you CAN do it.

| It doesn't matter at all, so either team could have a lax approach to it.
I can see a similar game, and scoreline to last season. However I also feel that if Leeds go a couple of scores up early doors we lack the motivation to keep it close.

| i've just watched the highlights of leeds/wigan and it was more a case of leeds were lucky with the bounce of the ball, and some defensive errors by wigan. They were not a dominant attacking force and it will be very different against the saints away from headingly

| I can't see either team winning both this and the CC match, so if given a choice wouldn't bother me losing on Fri. Not seen Saints much this season but won't catch me writing you guys off.

I don't agree I hate to say it but I thinks Leeds are quite a way in front of us this season and my gut feeling is we won't be as competative and won't get as close to you as we did last season!

| Neither team has played close to as well as they are capable of all season.
Saints put in 25mins against Wire, 30mins against Huddersfield & 15mins on Friday, we have defended superbly so far but with ball retention very poor, Puleta will need to show what he is capable of and cause Leeds trouble.
Leeds looked good for 25mins against a disjointed Wigan side who looked dangerous when they got ball in hand, they finished strongly against a tired but relaxed Manly side, struggled against KR (just as we did) and didn't majorly impress against Celtics or depleted Wakey.
Both have really only been doing "enough" in games so far (we blobbed one) this might be the longer term plan to peak at various points in the season with the top 8 play offs its not urgent to win 46-14 every week and be buggered come August / September...
I think it will be close but win or lose i'm not going to be tearing my hair out (whats left of it) unless we let ourselves down in the game - and even then its better now than in October (again)!! Saints by 4

Leeds have not hit their straps yet which makes this game impossible to call.
Unless, of course, there's some precipitation whereupon your wallflowers go to pot by all accounts

| Leeds by 12. I'm feeling confident about this one coming into it from a good win against Wigan although with Lauitiiti & Kirke being possible doubts i do think we will need some inspiration to come from the bench. Saints will no doubt (and i hope they do) up their game to provide a quality spectacle for all fans!
