Personally wouldn't have turner anywhere near the pack - our only chance is to overpower teams and win an arm wrestle type game. Playing turner 13 massively reduces the chance of that happening

Although Turner is named at loose he attacks at 7 and defends at centre.
Wellens is named as 7 and defends there but attacks at loose.
Josh Jones is names as centre and attacks there but defends at loose.

Wellens has to go back to FB. Wheeler and Hohaia in the halves and the same forwards depending on Walmsley's fitness. If he misses out then thompson in.

We can't perform any worse than last week. So let's just hope we put in a real shift and show some spirit.

Not sure about Dawson ahead of Swift but that team is good enough to beat Huddersfield IF they have a different mindset to last week. If not it'll be hoping Catalans can pull one out of the bag.

Don't agree with the selection of swift over Dawson this week. Swift was one of a few who had a good game last week and deserved another chance to play.

That drop-goal attempt by Hohaia was possibly the most amateur thing I've ever seen in Super League.

I dunno, I think the attempted "tackle" on Lunt for his schoolgirl's try was pretty amateur.

Yes, I wasn't blaming Hohaia for that one. Just saying there were quite a few amateur hour moments on that pitch tonight - Hohaia's drop goal attempt, Walmsley's PTB and attempted tackle, Amor's missed tackle, Silverwood's brainfart....

Which one? (On several) - you can add Wellens knock on to the list as well...

Just bare in mind that Hohaia would never be our chosen DG kicker normally. Walsh, Wilkin and even Lomax seem to be our main kickers and all are injured. Not sure how we hung in there tonight, I assumed that we were done when Cudjoe scored.

I honestly think Walmsley did nothing wrong tonight. There was nothing wrong with the tackle as he hit him head on, and as Sky said, the play the ball was fine.

The tackle wasn't malicious (you could see Walmsley was worried he'd hurt Burrow afterwards), but it was clumsy. Bottom line is that you have to avoid contact with the head, and the initial contact was with the head. It was a fair dismissal.

As for PTBs, Walmsley has a really big problem with them. He looks like a man who either isn't sure how to play the ball, or fears he'll drop it every time. The fact that it wasn't a knock-on doesn't mean it was "fine". How many other players do you know at that level who feel the need to think carefully about each step of the process of playing the ball so that it looks like every PTB is being dictated by someone from the sidelines : "Now, Alex, bend your back, then place the ball carefully on the floor, yes, that's right, with the pointy ends at the sides, now put your foot on it...." ?
