The money from staying in the.prem for one year is.probably worth all Wigans rent for the term of their lease.

Research the conditions of a lease "bone head" and you'll realise it's a grant of possession of land, buildings, ect through regular payments. Possesion is the state of having, owning, or controlling something.

Name the biggest stakeholder for Langtree Park and by your admission that would be whom "owns" your stadium.

And Mcmanus owns the largest stakehold in St Helens RL so we own our stadium

I was using your definition of ownership which is completely wrong, and is a tenant whom leases a home homeless? I didn't think so bonehead! WHELCO Holdings Limited and Wigan Council are the biggest stakeholders for the DW Stadium, the building is now owned by the Football club as a company. And I think you'll find Langtree Group, St Helens Council and Tesco all have stakes in your tin pot stadium. I'll let you research whom paid for most of it and has a majority share.

Am smiling at the arguments raging on Cherry and White today over who has legitimacy over the stadium for the Cup game. That's what Wigan get for playing their home games at Wigan Athletic's ground - to the stadium owners they are no more than troublesome tenants with zero rights, yet they still claim to be in a more advantageous position than we are.

I'm okay with playing them. If you want to win the cup you have to knock down the occasional big gun unless you get that lucky draw which takes you all the way through (we've had more than our fair share of those). That said it's given us another hellish three week run with Wigoon (A), Leeds (A), Wigoon (CoM). Three exceptionally tough matches right there. Leeds will be itching and we ran out of gas the last time we had three big ones on the bounce. Oh and we've got Hull away after those three. Ouch.

Jes I kinda knew I'd come back to this, ah well. Its all good natured so far.

Look we are a gracious club, we like helping out teams that do not have the suitable stadia available for cup ties. If Wigan can't fufill the fixture at their home venue, then just as we did for Oldham, I'm sure we can come to some arrangement for the CC quarter final.

I doubt they would. After all, this is Wigan's fixture and therefore Wigan should pay for any neutral ground. Saints should get their full gate share.
