I think in the end Eastmond will make it back to the first team, but not at half back. More likely as a winger possibly during a cup tie or if we get a serious run of injuries

Well we're getting better, but I wouldn't call our defense solid either ! It could be a high scoring game!

Different position every week if need be. If he's done nothing worthy of sacking him, then he should be involved. If he won't do that, he should be sacked.

I think he'd be a great asset at centre personally. As much as I'm a fan of Mr Wheeler (To be honest I have no idea if he's any good as he never plays) if Eastmond can play centre it'll do us good. We would have an individual threat that we don't currently have. Any extra attacking capability is going to be much needed with Leon likely to miss the majority of the season.

I think you'll eventually see eastmond come into that bench spot that royce uses for a back. Lets face it, he can cover any position in the backs and if he's back training with the right attitude, then why not?
He may have learnt a lesson with all that's gone on and want to put his head down and work for the remainder of his contract.
If he's acting like he doesn't care and that he's ready to leave, or being distruptive, then Royce wont pick him.

No,a good time to pick him would be when his form and attitude for the reserves is good enough for the first team. If/when that happens I wouldn't have a problem with him being picked.

I agree though, his performances (for whatever reason) have not merited him being picked in front of the current incumbents.

If they continue as they are then improve where would you play Eastmond? Shenton and Soliola are good centres and KE isn't a wingman. He hasn't a prayer of taking Wellens spot so where will he be fitted in?
Soliola does play 2nd row but would you select KE instead of Wheeler?
Saints future doesn't lie with Eastmond, it's with Lomax, Gaskell, Foster, Wheeler etc.

He's a good option anywhere bar the front and back row. He has pace and elusiveness that we lack. If Saints are going to pay him to the end of the season they should play him IMO. I think we should see him play away games for a while, to give him chance to appease some of the hillbillies.

If his attitude isn't right it doesn't matter whether we're paying him until his funeral.

Its really simple,he said he was going to give 100% and he didnt so he shouldnt be allowed anywere near the 1st team again,his attitude stinks,he has let down not just himself but his team mates and the supporters.

Pace and elusiveness? That was 12 months ago. There is nothing in Eastmonds performances this season that has any kind of pace or elusiveness. If Eastmond decides to play as we all know he can, then i'll agree with you that he should be included in the first team, but so far he has shown nothing but indifference and a definite lack of interest in each performance i've seen - and that includes last weeks U20's game.
