We have no form at all what so ever, cant score many points, and seem to have no motivation or game plan at all.

You should be confident and have every right in being so.

On the evidence of our performance tonight, which was even worse than our performance against Huddersfield's kids, you will tonk us, never mind beat us! Your guys may drop the ball a bit too often but at least you know how to play a fine brand of rugby league! Our guys have totally forgotten. After last week I thought they were on their way back. Oops! No.

I think there is some over reaction to tonights game.

Ok we were far from great but Catalan played some good rugby in parts.

Every team in the top 8 will want to get us in the playoffs.

I hope you guys are right but after the 20 years of the crap we have been served up its hard not to be pessamistic(sp).

Truth is pal, we should be able to play well even if our opposition do play good rugby.

If Hull KR win at the weekend, then they will be coming to KR next week knowing that -

We have no form at the moment
We have lost a lot of games at home this season
They have beaten us twice, once being at Knowsley Road.

They will be absolutely full of confidence.

I don't think so. Tonight's performance was utterly awful, regardless of Catalans' performance.

We will also be the form team with 6 wins on the spin.

All that is a big difference to jumping through hoops to play us tho isn't it!

We went to Leeds last week (who have been playing some fantastic rugby) and put together a good display. We were on the wrong end of the penalty count, had a dubious try against us, it was the first game with a full squad for 8/9 weeks. We're not firing on all cylinders but its going to stick soon.

Tonights game had some positives. Maurie played very well, Robes showed up well and Meli did a tonne of good work out of defence. The problems are with the halves, that and the crab on the right wing!

I'm sorry, but it really didn't. It had no positives at all.

I will say though that Eastmond, Cunningham, Roby and Clough actually played tonight. The rest went AWOL.

Gardner is truely awfull.

I think the biggest disappointment is not backing up from last week.

So many of us came away from last week thinking, ok, we are about to click, that was much better.

Our attack last week was rubbish so I wouldn't call it a good display.

We have massive problems in attack. It don't matter how well a teams defence is, if you can't attack you can't score and can't will just as last week showed.

TBF on Gardner tonight, he was in try scoring positions a few times, but the last pass to him wasn't good enough and he always had to stoop to catch it, hence he dropped it.

Im talking about his defence aswell as attack. I'm talking about the funniest attempt to catch a bomb im my life!! I mean diving to the ground like a retard when not needed was pathetic.

His service looks poor because he is stood still recieving the ball. He shouldbe flying on to Didleys passes. Instead he stops and runs across field. Not good enough, Get rid!

I agree, he isn't good enough and hasn't been all season. His defence is poor, but several times tonight, it only needed a simple pass to him but the last pass wasn't good enough, you can't fault him for the passes that are around his boot laces. He wasn't out of position to take at least 2 or 3 passes, because he was in the right position as he was there to drop the ball, but the pass simply wasn't good enough. I don't even think it was Gidley, i can remember Flannery throwing 2 bad balls to him, that would have been certain trys had they been good passes.

Gardner is poor. But how bad are Jonny Lomax's hands too? The only thing he caught all night was a stray boot in the chops. A Super League under a bomb should get within 6 feet, he looked ridiculous.

Where has Lomax been playing for Saints?

I suppose it's no excuse for constant knock ons but hasn't the lad been brought up as a halfback and when i've seen him in the first team he's been playing fullback/Wing. The same goes for Wheeler who again is a halfback who's been mainly played at centre and Eastmond has been shifted about at times aswell.

Obviously the last 2 have settled into the first team better then Lomax but it can't be easy trying to make your way in the first team in a position your not used to.

I get annoyed with Noble at times because he's reluctant to bring youngsters in unless he truely has to but when he does they tend to play in their correct positions. Ainscough on the wing, Tomkins at halfback and Flanagan and Mossop in the backrow have excelled this year but it must be easier to come in knowing your role and whats expected of you.

Lomax wasent that bad.
