there is a pelican crossing from the retail park to the stadium opposite the renault agent and another uncontrolled crossing frther down past the roundabout

Its going to be a nightmare to cross / drive through the uncontrolled area on match day.

Me and the mrs went for a nosy the other week and crossed there and it is deceptively wide and cars are approaching quicker that usual as it is the dual carriage way, I know it will be busier/slower on match days but I would certainly advise using the flashing green man if coming from that side.

For people coming from Sherdley Park area??

well it would be safer actually using the lights at the peasley cross junction, doesnt look like any crossing is planned at the McDonalds roundabout , ir from further up using the link bridge from Sherdley park itself i assume there is access from that side?

Fantastic pictures again.....Just wondering if anyone as asked if they could take pictures from inside the stadium.I was told by someone who is working on the stadium it looks amazing from the inside.

Nobody is allowed inside the stadium unless they have been inducted.

I was talking to a guy from barr construction during the week and he's happy with the build and the fact they are only two weeks behind plan.

I'd get fired if I was ever two weeks behind plan! They should be on plan with all the good weather they have had.

Is there just one corner not filled in now or is the steelwork in the the corners either side of the North Stand still to be completed?

December and January we had the big freeze and also had strong wind in the last two month which prevents the cranes from lifting steel. What seems as a strong breeze on ground level will be more like very strong wind at height.

All cranes a fitted with a safety device which tells them the wind speed and also sets off alarms or flashing light to show the wind is to strong.

To be fair to them being only two weeks behind is pretty good for a build in this country with our ever changing weather.

I don't think all the bank holidays will have helped either.

I've been all over the stadium today, every stand, under the stands and on pitch. It looks pretty impressive.

Is it just me or does it all look rather small on those pictures? Lovely, but small.

Like the steps? They look so small, like it's a toy stadium rather than a real one. Perhaps it's just an optical illusion but it appears you will need to be on first name terms with those around you as you'll have as much room in your seat as on your average primary school chair.

And did I imagine those arm rests on the publicity shots they used to sell me my ticket for the new ground?
